Installation was scheduled for Friday. I solicited other companies quotes using the estimate provided by the first company and all declined stating I needed to schedule an appointment for someone to come out to take measurements, etc. Our inside temperature was 98 degrees. Advanced Environment Solutions provided us an unbinding estimate of $9,600. a better warranty and immediately dispatched a technician to take measurements and install a portable AC unit until the new one could be installed. Our unit was installed Friday. What a bunch of professionals! The team arrived at 6:30 am and were done by 11:00 am. To our surprise, we received a fruit basket from Advanced Enviroment Solutions the following day thanking us for selecting them! Who does is anymore? Hey competitors... We install heat pumps, oil & gas furnaces, indoor air quality products, and provide air duct cleaning service. We operate our own custom sheet metal shop which utilizes a computer automated plasma cutter. Landes Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. Now serves an area spanning north to Winchester, east to the Blue Ridge Mountains, south to Lexington, and west to Franklin, West Virginia. Our founder, Rev. Olen B. Landes (retired), converted a chicken house into what was then named Landes Sheet Metal Shop and opened for business on January 1, 1948. His first job was to fix a mailbox for a neighbor for which he charged 25¢. Rev. Landes started out with one employee and a utility trailer he pulled behind his 1937 Ford 66 horsepower car.
