"I would like to preface this review with two things: 1. 5 star offers a discount on their work if you leave a good review, be weary of what you read on here. 2. We have had this company complete both a kitchen and a bath remodel. The issues I will bring up were consistent with both of these jobs. During both of our remodels, the biggest complaints I had were communication and quality. Two big components that a company should really pride themselves on if they cared about their customer base. Communication for our projects failed at almost every step of the way. The conversations had between us and the salesman were great, and then almost every single interaction that was not only had between us and the company but the company within themselves was comically poor. Some examples include: 1. Being told we would have a project manager come to our house prior to the project to check out our attic for structural questions (no one ever came before they started knocking down walls) 2. There were days workers would show up when we didn't know they were coming and not show up on days we were told they were supposed to be there. Not to mention the tile workers who had their truck parked outside our house from 8-5 but stayed in there late and left early to smoke. 3. Several unanswered/not returned calls and texts from the project managers. The only time the office reached out to tell us about something? When the bill was "due" even though our project wasn't complete yet. 4. Our salesman saying a project would take 3 weeks when in reality, it's been 3.5 months and there are still issues. 5. Anytime we asked the current workers what the plan was for the next day or really anything, they NEVER knew. They didn't know who was going to be working, they didn't know when, and they didn't know on what. 6. Several of the workers telling us point blank that their fellow workers screwed up and did things wrong. Good thing we caught it I guess? 7. Tile was about to be installed until I noticed it was not the right time, and the workers had no idea and they didn't know what tile they were actually supposed to put down or in what pattern. Then tile had to be ordered, delaying us even further. 8. The list goes on and on. It's as though no one in the company ever talks to each other, or their customer, and we're left trying to put the pieces together. Secondly, their quality of work is not worth what you pay, not even close. There has not been a single thing that they've done that we haven't had to ask them to fix or redo. This adds time to the project, financial strain on us as customers, and not to mention the stress of constantly acting as a project manager. We have had MAJOR things need to be redone (I'm talking walls needing to be taken apart and rebuilt, cabinet and ceiling painting, relocating outlets, and an ENTIRE SHOWER FLOOR), as well as other things (paint chipped walls, bad putty jobs, grout crumbling, paint splattered inside and outside the house and on and on) and all of it was because no one from their team cares enough to do it right the first time. The pictures I will include show *finished* products that they think are appropriate to leave as a job well done. Not only that, but just this last time when pointing out that the glass they had "special ordered" was actually measured wrong and therefore our shower door is crooked, I was told that my "OCD will just have to live with it." This company is not worth your time or effort. I would never recommend them to anyone."

"The remodel took 2 months to complete after I was told it would take 10 days. Delay after delay that was not explained and no communication unless i called them to complain about the delay. I can understand delays due to materials issues, but this company should communicate regularly with the client, especially if there are delays."

"Get a more detailed explanation of the billing process. I would have it more broken down. Instead of here this is how much you owe. He used other contractors which I didn't know who was paid what."

"Having endured the dysfunction of Foundation Finishes for 7 months, I was certainly glad to see them gone from the project and get life back to normal but that is not to be; now I am having to deal with the quality of their work. The latest is a leaking pipe that took out a portion of my ceiling. After attempting to get Foundation Finishes to stand by their work I have given up and hired another contractor who showed up as scheduled and stayed until the work is completed, how refreshing. Buyer beware."

"US Top Homes has no quality control and I feel like a fool for hiring them. I found uneven tile with low and missing grout. Cracks in grout before I’ve even used the bathroom. No caulk around shower fixtures. Electrical connections not in boxes. Visible gobs of joint compound dumped down the drain. Tape, screws, and drywall debris left in HVAC vent as well as left it hanging by one screw with a large gap. Spots that were completely missed with paint and gobs of joint compound on the top of the door casing. I spent many hours scraping paint and joint compound off of tile shower surround and floor, toilet, vanities, sinks, light fixtures, switches, outlets, and other areas of my house. All this after I met with them several times about all the problems with drywall finishing and painting. As I continue to clean and put my house back in order I find more and more shoddy work. I wouldn’t recommend this company and certainly wouldn’t use them ever again."
