Description of Work: I purchased the deal to receive $400 worth of tree service, for $200. I have a large oak in my backyard with a few dead-looking small branches hanging over my new garage. I thought $400 worth of time would be plenty to trim it up. Arbor+ was good about promptly scheduling a time to come meet. Unfortunately, once they arrived, the scope of the project rapidly grew. Their final estimate, despite our constant complaints about the direction of the project, was $1,400. Moreover - the owner of the company, Jon, was patronizing and rude. When we told him we'd like to keep as much of the tree as possible, he actually laughed right in our faces. His attitude was that we were ignorant about tree service and our requests were ridiculous (even if they were, and they required his company to come back next year and do more trimming, that's more money in his pocket. Why the know-it-all, smart a** attitude?). I wouldn't ever pay $1,400 for some basic tree trimming. That's patently absurd. But frankly, on principle, I'd never do business with a company that isn't going to respect our requests and treat us in such a manner. Angie's List, on the other hand, has been very cooperative and helpful through the refund process.

Description of Work: They removed the roots and tree stumps of all the bushes, hedges and trees we had cut down. They also took out a couple of quakes. They did a great job.

Description of Work: They came and assessed my situation. They were backed up, but came on the date agreed upon and performed the work as contracted. I liked everything about them.

Description of Work: Pruned and shaped a very large blue spruce tree.

Description of Work: Removed one 30ft tree, trmmed 2 trees, cleaned up the dense covering of pine needles dropped under the dying tree and planted a new tree.

Description of Work: Jon and his team were extremely professional - from the first meeting/consultation until the work was done. Jon actually met with me for the consultation. I could tell that he was a little taken back by the amount of work our yard/trees needed as they had been severely neglected by the previous owner. He was very upfront with me about what needed to be done to help preserve some of the trees as well as beautify our house and landscape. He called a couple of times before the scheduled work to confirm our appointment. On the day the work was done, Jon's team was punctual and polite. They showed up at our house and started working right away. Jon was there with his crew working side-by-side to get the job done. Everything turned out great. I would highly recommend Arbor+ and plan on using them in the future.
