HT Floors and Remodel proudly serves its customers with pride, integrity and attention to the details that matter most to you. This is one of the many things that sets us apart from the rest. We are locally owned and operated. Give us a call today and see why we come so highly recommended!
"Kitchen and flooring is what we had done and this was the most poorly managed home remodel project I have ever been a part of. The GC who at the beginning of the project said he would be here every day that we had a worker here, rarely came by for quality control leaving us to do most of that ourselves. I would rate the final quality of work on our project at a solid average Sub contractor management and scheduling was terrible. My phone is full of subcontractor phone numbers because much of the scheduling was left for us to manage as if we did not have full time jobs already. Even still, our project went 6 weeks over the schedule (admittedly two of those weeks was because we brought in another contractor for part of our remodel). The GC left the country a month before our project was done. Given his subs started asking me for money at the end and their website is now down, I am guessing we were HT last job. Even if we were not , we would not work with HT Floors and remodel again."

"We have used Daniel Bullard previously and when he remodeled our master bathroom he did great work. On Christmas Eve a pipe burst and caused water damage. One room, a closet and flooring in multiple rooms had to be replaced. The flooring is a huge issue with my complaint. Originally we were going to do simple peel and stick vinyl planks like we did in our living room. For whatever reason they could not get them to stick so we have Daniel the authority to choose flooring that fell into the insurance company budget. He chose a click and lock laminate flooring that had a residential lifetime warranty. When installing this floor the planks are supposed to be staggered and trim is supposed to be installed to keep the flooring nice and tight with no wiggle room. We noticed almost immediately that in one area there were a few boards not laying flat. He came out and fixed it and when he did he didn't stagger the boards. The repairs were complete the end of February 2023. By June 2023 we noticed that the flooring was shifting and contacted Daniel (the owner). He said he would work with us on the labor to replace it. We contacted him again and asked him to come and see how bad it really was. He came out in July and said that he made a mistake in installation and he would cover the labor and half of the materials. He stated this in front of myself and my mother. We agreed even though we felt he should pay for it all as he installed it wrong causing it to break and our new floors needed to be replaced less than han 6 months after installation. We saved money to cover our half of materials. He had a family medical crisis so he chose November 13, 2023 for install. We repeatedly texted asking how he would like to do the material, we pay upfront for it all and then he would pay us the half or he pick up and pay and we reimburse. That's when he changed it to he was not covering any material. We reluctantly agreed so we could fix the now falling apart floor. Before 11/13/23 we texted multiple times asking what time to expect him. No answer. Finally that day he said I can have someone there on the 15th to start. He forgot to put us on the schedule. On the 15th he and 2 of his subcontractors arrived late dropped the material off and left said they would be here between 8 and 9 the next morning. They showed at 2:30 to remove the damaged floor. Then they left. Returned Friday and his subcontractors did an amazing job. Daniel however is someone you need to get everything in writing because he went back on his word about paying half, he should have paid for it all because he improperly installed it or we wouldn't have needed to replace it again so fast. We spent over $1200 between materials and having to stay in a hotel for a night because we couldn't access half our house, not including ordering out because our fridge and stove were in our living room. Very, very unhappy. We should not have had to spend this money a second time in less than a year. A good contractor stands behind their work and he didn't. I have photos of the bad install in anyone wants them."

"6 feet fences repaired. Two new posts are replaced, I was told the posts went to 3.25 fees deep I the soil, so I asked him to show the material he bought and what the length of posts. He was very mad and asked me why did not you trust me, i simply said show me the post length because it is quality issue, he finally showed me the post is 8 foot, the post went down about two foot. The job done in the evening, early in the morning, forecast has rain, he did not put any cover top of concreate. I m not confidence to what he has done, I m remote, honest contractor would take a picture of the hole before pull concrete or show me right material. I did not argue price but expect to have job done right. After job, a drama happened. When I pay him, found out I only have $100 for Zelle pay, so I paid him $100, and told him I will pay rest tomorrow. He got angry and called police which I never understood why a small amount could not wait till second day"

Installing a marble backsplash costs about $2,200 on average, ranging from $600 to $6,000, depending on the variety of marble and the labor costs to prep and install. Common types of marble used for backsplashes include:
Makrana: $12 per square foot
Pink: $25 per square foot
Carrara: $40 per square foot
Statuatrio: $50 per square foot
Cultured: $65 per square foot
Travertine: $75 per square foot
Danby: $80 per square foot
Calacatta: $180 per square foot
Marble countertops cost $3,000 on average, ranging from about $2,000 to $5,000, depending on the type of marble, square footage, location, and whether you use tiles or slabs. Another major cost factor to consider is the grading of the marble, which determines its quality level.
Use this grading system when selecting marble for countertops:
Grade A: Nearly perfect with subtle veining
Grade B: Minor flaws such as pits, fissures, or blotches
Grade C: Minor and major flaws like chipping and cracks requiring repair
Grade D: Significant damage needing repair, with dark veining and pronounced colors
Granite and marble compare well against each other in terms of price, durability, and aesthetic appeal. Deciding which one is better depends on your personal style and preference. Both materials resist damage like chips and cracks well. You should seal both material types against staining and etching, but they’re still susceptible if oil, wine, coffee, tomato sauce, or juice are left on the countertop long enough. As material and installation costs range similarly, the deciding factor is your budget, design, and preferences.
Installing granite kitchen countertops costs about $3,250, ranging from $2,000 to $4,000, depending on the quantity and quality of the granite, use of granite tile or granite slabs, the type of granite, and its color and texture. Varieties of granite include:
Alaska white: $35 per square foot
Ubatuba: $30–$60 per square foot
Silver cloud: $35–$40 per square foot
Absolute black: $45–$60 per square foot
Black galaxy: $50–$70 per square foot
Blue Louise: $70–$100 per square foot
Crema Bordeaux: $80 per square foot
Solarius: $60 per square foot
Overall, granite tends to cost more than marble. Prices for each material will fluctuate depending on the source of the stone, your location, shipping costs, and the thickness of the material. Labor to install marble or granite countertops typically ranges from $35 to $45 per hour. Granite and marble tile and slab costs compare as follows:
Marble tile: $7–$10
Granite tile: $5–$15
Marble slab: $25–$60
Granite slab: $50–$100
