"Firepit 1ft off center Firepit had no crush under 1st layer like u promised. Actually bottom layer has zero nothing naught under it. They just laid them out around my Firepit 2 Sitting wall 5in higher rt to lt 3 Sitting wall not centered, and not 16 ft like u promised. It's closer to 12 ft 4 Water ponds in middle of pavers after rain 5 Edges of patio a mess where they dribbled cement. 6 Grass just laid on Edges of patio over dribbled quick Crete. When did grass start growing on cement, lol 7 No sand on Edges of most outside grey pavers 8 Patio lights system with the cheapest transformer $63 known to man. I could of had a 120W for the same money. $1000 was price gouging for a 10 minute install and 150 in supplies. We could have dropped a 14/2 wire under 4x3 walkway and has tons of future lighting possibilities. Thanks for looking after us. 9 U didn't even have the courtesy to walk Brenda around the patio before you dove in for the final payment. Shame on you !!!!!!!!! 10 All around patio was left a mess, especially the 3x20 section beside house 11 You damaged end of 10x3 , now 8x3 walkway and dribbled cement in crack you'll broke taking out cement. 12 You cut our live cable line and ran over it 30 to 40 times digging. You could have come in N to S and avoided running over cable so many times. 13 And above was caused when u didn't coordinate with 811 on buried cables Let Brends me know when you want to address the poor quality of your work. The only good thing is that patio is 16x20 , except for round corner he guess at the curve and just eyeballed it instead of measuring the correct arc. Very dissatisfied with the 9 000 dollar patio. Oops, forgot, we paid 5k too much for the lackadaisical job ."

Owner of small business that does carpentry, concrete, grading, retaining walls, drainage, tree service etc. I was raised around heavy machinery and carpentry work with strong labor demands in concrete slabs and anything that needs to be addressed for the customers wants and expectations of whatever job's needing to be met professionally and finished in a timely manner with integrity, safety and respectably of the public and consumers well beings. I was raised by my dad, mother, grandma "mama dot" and grandpa "papa" since the day I was welcomed into the world on November 9, 1985. I was brought up with love, hard work and yes butt whoopings when I was in the wrong. I was taught to work and to respect other's and always try your best to help anyone who needs a hand or for one's who aren't able. Yes sir, no sir, and yes ma'am, no ma'am are the way you answered your elders and is still the way they are answered today. I believe in God and I love God in mine and my loved one's lives and if you don't that's ok by me just don't shame my lord or mock my ways in my face to disrespect me. I don't start anything that I won't complete and in every job I give it my all. Have a great day and God bless.

"This irrigation repair company is unprofessional and downright childish. On Saturday July 1, 2023 I sent a request to them to update and repair any possible problems with my current irrigation system. On July 2, 2023, I received another message that they would be in touch on July 3, 2023. On July 3, 2023 I received an email from Barret saying that they would be in contact with me. On July 3, 2023, I received another message that they would be in contact with me on July 4, 2023. I told them to wait until after the holiday, to spend time with the family. They responded that they would be in touch on July 5, 2023. On July 5, 2023 I sent a message advising them that their failure to follow-up with a potential customer, when they had advised that they would be in touch on a set day, was troubling. I immediately got a phone call back from Giorgio who insisted on $85.00 to look at the project. This fee would not be credited to the project, it was a flat $85.00 fee to look at it. After discussing the fee at length (which I agreed to pay had it gone to the cost of the project) he became belligerent. He kept arguing with me that this, "Was the industry standard." Further, Giorgio stated that he did not talk to me until July 4th and that I wanted them to come out on a holiday. I told him that he was untrue, that he was now lying and that I can prove it. When I called him out on his lies, he became extremely agitated and hung-up. This company's lack of professionalism and accountability is horrible. Do not say you are going to do something, then deny making the statement, become abusive and then run away when the facts are proven. I do not recommend them."

Pavers and hardscaping services FAQs

It might seem counterintuitive, but the best time to install a paver patio is during late fall to winter. The cold and wet weather of those seasons can help your patio installer perfect the foundation for your patio. Plus, you'll likely be able to find better sales and deals during the colder months when patio installation business is typically slower. Consult a local patio paver professional to determine the best time to install based on your area’s climate.

The cost of a paver patio is $3,800 for a 280-square-foot patio on average. Depending on the patio size, paver material, and design complexity, this cost can range from $2,400 to $7,000 or more.

The size of your patio is a significant factor in the project’s overall cost. If you're building a smaller patio of only 60 square feet, your costs will be closer to $480 to $1,500. If you want a more luxurious 900-square-foot patio, you'll spend closer to $7,200 to $22,500.

A paver patio can last anywhere from 20 to 100 years, depending on the type of pavers and how well you maintain them.

Travertine pavers are usually the most durable, lasting 100 years or more, with regular maintenance. Concrete brick pavers have a variety of shapes and colors available and typically last 25 to 50 years. Traditional brick pavers have a more classic look, lasting around 20 years with proper maintenance.

It's also necessary to install paver edging when installing a paver patio. This additional step helps prevent the paver borders from shifting outward, which happens due to frequent use and soil expansion over time. By being diligent and placing the paver edging during the patio installation, you can help minimize upkeep and repair costs. Plus, this feature can help maintain your pavers to keep them in place permanently.

While installing a paver patio yourself is possible, we don’t recommend it. First, this project is very time-consuming, averaging around 40 to 50 hours. Beyond the sheer amount of labor required, you need to have knowledge of yard grading and drainage so that rainwater doesn't puddle on your new patio.

Without sufficient expertise, you could encounter several problems, including improper placement and leveling of sand or improperly compacted soil, leading to an uneven surface. For these reasons, hiring a professional paver patio installer is advisable to build the patio of your dreams.
