"We called Duckett out to resolve a single issue - a leak - which appeared to be coming from our daughters bathroom above our master closet. Long story short - they did not locate the leak, they made a costly and unnecessary "repair" and left the leak unresolved. Throughout the â repairâ the technician (William) left open the door for charging more for the actual repair (leaking shower valve) and tried to sell my wife on dry wall repair services to the tune of $400. The technician was also caught in a lie stating he told my wife we could just put an access door for $60. When we called and spoke with the owner he was extremely rude and confrontational, would not let me speak and said if I didnâ t answer all his questions he would hang up on me. He finally agreed to send someone out to do an assessment to determine the source of the leak (which wasnâ t done properly the first time) and repair it at no charge as long as we paid for the parts, which we agreed to. The morning of the appointment, he cancelled on us citing a note my wife made on the square transaction stating the repair wasnâ t complete. This note, which is not visible by anyone other than us and him, cannot be altered or removed. He refused to come out unless we removed this note and threatened to sue us if we posted any negative reviews. Bottom line, stay away from this company. They have an F rating with the BBB (link below), citing they didnâ t provide their LLR licensing information, and they use a BBB Accredited Business Logo when they are not one. The only reason why they have positive ratings online is because they threaten to sue people who leave negative reviews. We will be filing a complaint with LLR as we will not be threatened or intimidated from telling the truth! https://www.bbb.org/us/sc/greenville/profile/plumber/duckett-plumbing-co-llc-0673-90031668"

Complete septic system services. Repairs, pumping and installation, including sewer and septic lift stations
"My mom had a sink hole a few feet in front of her septic clean out that was a problem ever since her house was built. The builders kept filling it with dirt until her warranty went out and then wiped that hands of the problem. Once I was aware of the problem, I knew something was not right and started looking for septic companies. I can't say enough about Upstate Septic. They were out within a day to give a quote which was basically an exploratory dig and put her on the schedule within a week. Unfortunately the rain delayed the work, but Upstate Septic rescheduled and stayed in contact up to the new date. The problem was found and fixed with no additional cost and the work was completed in a day including a septic pumping. Although I never met any one in person, everyone was very personable and easy to work with over the phone. Will definitely use again if a problem comes up."

Yes, most states require septic tank installers to have a license, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed septic tank professional could lead to poor quality work, added future expenses, and potential code violations. A licensed septic tank installer tackling your projects only protects you as a homeowner.

The cost to replace a septic tank is $7,350 for the average homeowner. This cost can range, however, from $470 to $22,500, depending on several factors. Your house size is a significant factor in the overall cost, but other things like material type impact the final price tag. For example, installing a new septic tank in a one-bedroom house typically costs $500 to $900, whereas installing a new septic tank in a five or six-bedroom home is generally $1,200 to $1,600.
The cost of septic tank repair is $1,775 for the average homeowner. However, depending on a few elements, you might pay as little as $170 or as much as $6,100. Location, repair type, and tank material all determine the final cost. For example, replacing the septic tank filter can be as little as $200 to $300. However, repairing septic lines costs more, averaging around $1,500.
A septic tank can typically last 15 to 20 years on average, though your system's lifespan will vary depending on the type of septic system and the materials used. To help increase your septic tank's lifespan, schedule routine maintenance and do not flush items like cat litter, cigarette butts, or paper towels.
Repairing or replacing a septic tank is a job best left to a professional. Your septic tank is an essential part of your home, and if installed or repaired incorrectly, it could lead to significant problems. Things like polluted water, property damage, and health risks to your family could all happen as a result of an improper septic tank repair or installation.
