Brigman Septic Tank Service
"Excellent service. Returned my phone call promptly. Not only pumped our tank empty, but made sure to snake out the line thoroughly to ensure that our line was clean with no clogs. Didn't just run the snake quickly, but stayed at it until our drain line water was running clean."

"DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY I made an account to specifically share my story about this company. They do poor workmanship, will mislead you every step of the way as they try to assist you, and do not make good on their word when resolving disputes. My wife and I needed to get a new HVAC and air handler in early 2021. We used this company and signed up for their advantage program. The units were installed and we agreed to a monthly payment until the equipment and was paid in full. As part of the deal, we were supposed to get free service appointments, etc. Almost immediately after the install, we noted that our air wasn't working properly. The unit would blast loudly almost like a rocket taking off, it wouldn't keep our home cool through the summer, interior humidity was through the roof, and our electric bills skyrocketed. I called and made numerous complaints. Each time, a service technician would come out and review the equipment, tell me it was fine, and let me know that they "Needed to make some small adjustments and we'd be fine." After two years of complaining, they finally sent out the service manager for the entire location, Mr. DJ Flynn. Upon looking at my exterior HVAC unit for maybe 5 minutes, he recognized on sight that my unit was supposed to be equipped with "two stage cooling" but it wasn't enabled for some reason. This was causing the home to try and enable a second gear when it wasn't cooling fast enough, but since it was not properly enabled, the unit was pumping hot air into the home. This created a feedback loop where my air was constantly running without cooling the home, raising my bills and leaving us extremely uncomfortable. Mr. Flynn noted the following errors with my install: - The exterior compressor was incorrectly wired to disable two stage cooling - The air handler was incorrectly wired to disable two stage cooling - The zone board was not properly programmed for two stage cooling - The fan speed was turned to maximum high, causing the loud noises and further drain on electric bills - The wires leading to the thermostats which would control two stage cooling HAD BEEN CLIPPED AND TUCKED BACK INTO THE WALL BY THE ORIGINAL INSTALLERS Mr. Flynn essentially admitted that the original installers must have elected not to enable two stage cooling as it requires extra work, essentially admitting that I received a negligent install. He apologized for the inconvenience and was able to rewire and fix the unit in a matter of hours. My wife and I dealt with over 2 years of higher electric bills and discomfort simply because representatives from Midland Air Service Experts (both the original installers and every single workman sent after - no less than 4 people) were too stupid or lazy to diagnose the issue and wire the unit correctly. Due to the high electric bills, I lodged a complaint with the company. I had to deal with the senior leadership (managers) and legal/billing departments due to the severity of this issue. They agreed to transfer ownership of all equipment over to me, cancel my Advantage Program membership, and charge me no further money. I was also assured that any paperwork that might encumber the deed to my home (such as a UCC-2 filing) would be removed immediately. I received confirmation of all of this in writing via a letter from the company dated July 29, 2024. I tried to engage in a simple home refinance in August of '24. I discovered that Midlands Air Service Experts had taken no action to remove the UCC-2 filing on deed. I discovered on 10/2/24 that, in spite of the above, the company had processed ANOTHER two recurring credit card charges. I was billed on 8/25 and 9/25, both well after my account was supposed to be closed. I called to complain about the charges, and the representative who answered the phone looked me up and told me that MY ACCOUNT WAS STILL ACTIVE IN THEIR SYSTEMS. In conclusion, this company does poor work, will lie to your face, and does not follow through on their promises. Use literally anyone else for your needs."

We offer commercial and residential plumbing and gas installation and repair. With over 30 years experience, our prices are very low and we stand behind our work 100%. We offer installation or repair of gas lines, water heaters, toilets, sinks, septic, showers, drains, sprinkler systems and much more. We are licensed Master Plumbers and we are insured and bonded.
"To Summarize: Excellent, professional, great communications, reasonable & affordable pricing, licensed, insured & bonded, timely, and close to Lake Carolina. Robbie communicated initially and rapidly with a quote after hours (I supplied a detailed statement of work requested). We worked out availability (he was available the following day but I wasn't, so we worked it out for the subsequent day). Justin, who did the work, communicated enroute with estimated arrival time, just as Robbie said would happen. After arriving, he mentioned what he would do. The work was done very well and safely (as it involved a blow torch to unsweat the original home's faucet/spigot). There was an issue with the spigot not coming off right away due to it couldn't get hot enough; however, Justin knew from his experience it was due to a little water remaining in the pipe so he angled it appropriately and a successful removal followed shortly after that. He properly worked on the copper pipe (exterior AND interior) to prep it for receiving my provided Sharkbite shutoff valve. He cooled down the pipe enough to then install the valve. Then, he tested it for no leaks and for the valve properly working. I have added this company to my contacts for future plumbing, as well as for gas, as I now know they do that kind of work as well. Several other reasons I contacted this company (in addition to past good ratings and proposed fair rates), is they were very close to my home in Lake Carolina and also that his protections he had in place were more than other 'A' rated companies/contractors, e.g., licensed, insured AND bonded. And he has several additional eco certifications. I am not a plumber but I have done a lot of major and minor plumbing projects over the years. I watched and every bit of work was impeccable."

Yes, most states require septic tank installers to have a license, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed septic tank professional could lead to poor quality work, added future expenses, and potential code violations. A licensed septic tank installer tackling your projects only protects you as a homeowner.
As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Certified” badge. Angi Certified businesses meet our standards for certification which include:
The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check
Required to have applicable state and local licenses
Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review
Paying to advertise their services
Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi
The cost to replace a septic tank is $7,350 for the average homeowner. This cost can range, however, from $470 to $22,500, depending on several factors. Your house size is a significant factor in the overall cost, but other things like material type impact the final price tag. For example, installing a new septic tank in a one-bedroom house typically costs $500 to $900, whereas installing a new septic tank in a five or six-bedroom home is generally $1,200 to $1,600.
The cost of septic tank repair is $1,775 for the average homeowner. However, depending on a few elements, you might pay as little as $170 or as much as $6,100. Location, repair type, and tank material all determine the final cost. For example, replacing the septic tank filter can be as little as $200 to $300. However, repairing septic lines costs more, averaging around $1,500.
A septic tank can typically last 15 to 20 years on average, though your system's lifespan will vary depending on the type of septic system and the materials used. To help increase your septic tank's lifespan, schedule routine maintenance and do not flush items like cat litter, cigarette butts, or paper towels.
Repairing or replacing a septic tank is a job best left to a professional. Your septic tank is an essential part of your home, and if installed or repaired incorrectly, it could lead to significant problems. Things like polluted water, property damage, and health risks to your family could all happen as a result of an improper septic tank repair or installation.
