"They truly live by the code of "you get what you paid for". The price was cheaper than expected (and they included a free estimate too). So ultimately, our slow bathtub drain was cleared. However, the technician had terrible housekeeping. After stripping the caulking around the overflow valve, they left the caulking pieces in the bathtub and told us to flush them down the drain (?!). They said the provided bio solution would clear the pieces just fine...but why do that when a trash can is less than a foot away?? Then, they did not offer to reseal the valve they just opened...just left a mess for us to pick up. As such, we will not be using them again next time...free estimate or not. If we wanted the bare minimum, we would have done it ourselves."

"We could not be happier with choosing Unique Indoor Comfort for our new HVAC system. We found this company by being referred by a client of my husbands. The original duct work in our house was extremely undersized, over working our unit and not creating good airflow to reach the third floor of our town home. Reni came out to our home, and took the time to explain to me options with Unique to really make our new HVAC unit/system efficient and comfortable temperatures in our house. I really appreciated his kindness and patience with me with all my questions. Unique was able to get us scheduled within a week or finalizing the contract, just in time in end of April when the first heat wave hit. It has been almost two months now since Henry and Matt installed our new HVAC system (they both were friendly and did an excellent job) and we are truly enjoying it. With a new baby in the house, it is a relief to have this new unit and ability to cool down our house quickly and efficiently. I know it is a lot interviewing and getting quotes from different HVAC companies - it is a big investment. This company truly stood out for us and were able to work with our budget and our needs for our home. They were the only company who proposed how we could add an additional vent to allow more airflow, and to redo the duct work to the proper sizing for our house and up to code. "Things have to be pretty bad for me to leave a negative review. I hate to do it but in this case it’s necessary. Frank came over to look at my fridge and had an extremely thick accent. Not a complaint but there was a large language barrier to begin with. When he came into my house, he said he was from house. Which I now realize he meant house appliance repair but even with the accent I know he didn’t say anything after house. Now I had called several people from houzz and Angie’s list. I KNEW he was hired From angi because I called his company purely because there was a special offer/promotion for the service charge. I said to him oh I thought I got your number from Angie’s list. Frank told me they were the same thing. I asked him directly if Angie’s list and house were the same thing. He said yes. Ok, I chalked it up to maybe he didn’t understand my English. It’s important to note that when I made the appointment I mentioned the promotional discount on Angie. She said to tell Frank when he showed up. Then after he was in my house, Frank said he would not honor the discount. He said he knew nothing about it. Even after I showed it to him on the website he still would not lower the very expensive service charge just to enter my house. So I told him water was laying under the bottom ice drawer and freezing. He seemed to know what the problem was without even looking at it but when opening the fridge, he mentioned the seal should be replaced. But he also added …in the future. That it was not necessary right now. Then he told me he’d be back in a few days when the parts came in. He started to walk to my front door. I had to ask him what parts he was ordering. Somehow, without any discussion, he also put in an order for the refrigerator seal. I asked him how much the Parts were. He gave me a serious attitude like he was bothered by a stupid question. I told him I was not going to OK any charges until I had that information. He said he wasn’t sure of the prices and From what I could understand, I heard he was going to just tack it on the credit card that I had to give them when I made the appointment. He was very rude and seemed frustrated that I couldn’t understand him. I was very polite about it but I did have to ask him to repeat himself multiple times. I asked him to send me an estimate for the repair and we could possibly make an appointment after I saw the price. Frank told me he would send it that night. I did not receive it. Then theres the phone number weirdness. I was Repeatedly given a different telephone number every time I tried to contact them. I would call a number, had to leave a message, and then someone would call me back from a different number. On their message, they gave me a different number. I found this all to be very shady. They called me once after that and just left a message letting me know they took the liberty of making an appointment for me. It was my machine so I had no conversation with them. I called them back the day of the appt. and then was told the part wasn’t even in. So the service guy couldn’t make the appointment that they had scheduled for me without my consent because the parts (I never approved because I never received the estimate) did not come in and they never even called to let me know. Then I never heard from them again. I called several times. They never called me back. I finally gave up. I was so aggravated and there was/is absolutely no trust with this person or his business. So I had to pay $189 for him to come out just to look at my fridge seals that was not even why I called him. I later saw his website where it specifically states that they like to talk to people first and try to troubleshoot over the phone so as to save customers from having to pay that service charge. I was not offered this service! Considering that when he came in to my house, he didn’t need to even look at the freezer added to the fact i showed him the offer for discount service charge, I really don’t understand why I was charged so much. I ended up calling another company and it was $106 for them to come out and repair the problem. The whole encounter, from beginning to end, was a nightmare. It would’ve still been bad if I hadn’t had to shell out so much money. I won’t even use Angie anymore. That’s how bad the experience was."

"though I appreciate the emergency Saturday service call (cost 169.00), I thought the additional charge of 303.00 (450.00) for a diagnostic check and repair ( no parts necessary - just less than a hour of manpower) was a bit exorbitant. perhaps I failed to realize that heating/ac personnel are paid on the equivalent scale as neurosurgeons."

"Hismael and his crew replaced and repaired my old, cracked cast iron stack pipe, and repaired the backyard drain. They went above and beyond, navigating the tiny crawlspace under the house to run all new pipes. He was such a pleasure from start to finish, great communication explaining everything as they worked. Plus, his prices are amazing! Highly recommended and I'll be calling them again for future work!!"

"When our 20-year-old AC had a lot of problems throughout summer 2020, we knew it was on its last legs, and it finally gave out at the beginning of the hot season in 2021. We had received 2 estimates for a new system in 2020 but weren't completely happy with either company. We got 2 new estimates and decided to go with Fahrenheit. Mike came over the day after we called and we were very impressed with his knowledge and responsiveness, as well as the fact that his team was able to do the install the very next day. The price was fair and similar to the other estimates we had received. The team arrived promptly the next morning. They installed the new unit, blower and compressor. They were clean and friendly and worked hard. The new unit has been installed for almost 2 months now and works great. I am very happy with our choice and highly recommend Fahrenheit."
