She was very concerned that if it fell it would land next to her side door and the bees would surprise and engulf her someday. Even if it never fell the size of the hive indicated it should contain many bees and therefore a possible danger to her. So, after reading the reviews on "Angi" for exterminators in Newtown I called Green Pest Solutions. The next morning Matt from Green Pest Solutions called and said he had already looked at the hive and it was an abandoned wasp hive and was no threat since the wasps were gone and it would fall down on its own and there was no charge for his inspection and advice. I was amazed! How easy would it have been for him to simply remove the hive and charge me the going rate of several hundred dollars? I would have paid and not thought anymore about it. All of us have heard stories of being taken advantage of by someone doing work for us, but you will never hear a story like that about Matt and Green Pest Solutions."

"EXCELLENT FAST EFFICIENT and FAIR!! Carlos and his team run a business as it should be run—and I cannot help but to spread the word about the quality of service that I received. Start to finish, they were RESPONSIVE, HONEST, FAIR, and EFFICIENT. Yesterday evening, I noticed a SWARM of angry looking wasps/yellow jackets/MONSTERS outside the window to my infant's nursery. I panicked. I did a Google search and got the run around by a number of corporate services. Then, I posted to Facebook for recommendations and was IMMEDIATELY given the name of Carlos with Sting--I left a voicemail. I got a call back within 30 minutes AFTER THEY CLOSED for the day---unlike the other companies I called, I wasn't transferred from person to person--I was speaking to an actual human named Billy, not some corporate drone just "filling out the form" to get all of my personal information. Billy asked relevant facts and gave me a quote within minutes. Notably, it was the LEAST EXPENSIVE QUOTE I'D RECEIVED. Also, he did not try to sell me a yearly membership based on fear (one company told me without even knowing what the pest was or the extent of the nest, "these [pests] will just keep coming back so we need to come out quarterly to re-treat.") STING was also available to come to my house the very next morning! Carlos assessed the situation and got the job done QUICKLY and EFFICIENTLY. I asked him about the supposed need for recurring treatments---he said that was not necessary and that if the pests came back, they would come back out to treat for free. This man did not rely on fear-mongering to gain business like the other companies I called. Among all of STING’s remarkable qualities, here is the MOST REMARKABLE: I was so happy to have the service was being completed that I didn't ask questions about the cost. On his own, Carlos finished the job and told me, "this was an easier job than I thought, so I'm not going to charge you full price." Not trying to upsell me AND lowering the quote based on the actual work completed. How fair-minded is that? If you want to deal with a community-oriented company that is run by CARING, THOUGHTFUL, TALENTED, FAIR, RESPONSIVE, EFFICIENT HUMAN BEINGS---then, choose STING. I am so grateful to have been given the recommendation in my time of need and I hope my recommendation similarly helps someone else who finds themselves afraid and desperate as I was!"

"Our inspector, Joe Donnelly, was recommended by our realtor. He was very nice and did catch a lot of smaller things on our home inspection. However, he majorly screwed up on the electrical part of the inspection: he noted that there were a few double tapped breakers that we should get fixed, but somehow did not notice that none of the breakers were GFCI or arc-fault protected. He also missed the lack of sticker on the box, which meant the electrical work in the house had never been inspected (or at least never passed). When we called an electrician in to fix the double tapped breaker issue, he immediately pointed out the non- arc fault, non-GFCI, no inspection situation and was shocked the home inspector didn't notice either issue. We now have gotten estimates of several thousand dollars to fix the electrical issues, expenses we were not planning on. If Joe had found these issues, we likely would not have gone through with buying this house."
