+ -1 moreExcellent Service!!! They contact you before each treatment and Email a condition of your lawn. Treatments are customize for the condition of your lawn. They use equipment to treat the lawn. Not a garden hose attached to a truck. I have the best looking, healthy lawn in the neighborhood.
Description of Work: I have work done related to the contracted schedule treatment time. They evaluate the condition of your lawn. Not just sell you treatments irregardless of the lawn condition. They spend the time explaining each treatment and the reason. Not pushing extra unneeded treatments!

They actually came back once without charge to tackle some more of the weeds, but very happy with them. The price is good. I mean it's just like the other ones. They just come when ever. I mean there is no set time. It's the lawn outside.

+ 0 moreThe service did not go well. My lawn looked pretty good before the service. After the service, the lawn looked horrible. I was very disappointed in the service. I also paid them an additional fee to have them take care of a vole problem and they did not take care of that either. I had little interaction with the technicians and just got a write up of the service. I had no problem scheduling the deal.
Description of Work: I purchased a deal for a professional organic-based lawn fertilization and weed control treatment.

+ -1 moreToo time consuming. I had to constantly call for service to be complete. Despite the fact that the Provider responded that he was "timely," this only occurred because I had called to prompt them to come and complete the services. I never spoke to the individual who responded to my review; only the office staff.
Description of Work: I went with Natural Lawn because of the organic substances used to treat lawns and its safety with pets and children. They were very prompt in setting up initial meeting, but it was all downhill thereafter. They would never even come to treat my lawn unless I called and requested they do so. I have been a client for two years with the premium plan and they did not come to treat my lawn one time without prompting. Then when they did come out, they "doubled up" on the treatment. How can you fertilize twice in one session?? Plus, I was double billed. My lawn has changed from plush to infested with insects and weeds and is in deep distress. While I realize that "organic" does not always kill weeds as a pestiside would, I think that Natural Lawn contributed to its weakened state. Of note, when I would call to inquire as to why they did not complete my scheduled treatments, they alway have excuses - loss of manpower, not in area, "oh yeah, we are scheduled for Monday!" These excuses were the same time and time again. When I called to fire them, I received the Home Company and I must admit, the person who answered was very accomodating and apologetic. My main complaint is with the Kutztown office. I may reconsider using if I would not fall under that Kutztown office. Their customer service is deplorable.

+ -1 moreThe front lawn became thicker and most of the weeds were finally gone. The lawn service called a couple of days ahead of time to be sure someone was home. They gave us very good service. We would use them again next season.

+ 0 moreThey called back in 2012 when I purchased it and my husband and I were doing some work in the yard and putting up a shed that it was not a good time. They kept in touch and told me to contact them when we were ready. Well that time did not come until March that I contacted them to come out but we had to wait for the frost to stop. They are a faithful company, they came out today to fulfill there part of the obligation. They were very nice and curtious. I will be getting them back again.
Description of Work: Early Spring treatment w/crabgrass reducer and treated weeds and took soil sample. This is an organic based lawn care which keeps your children and pets safe from the harm of pesticides.

+ -1 moreI bought this when Angie's List had a big deal. The gentleman who applied the treatment was knowledgeable, nice and accommodating. My only complaint was that the weed spray is not an organic one. The fertilizing and aeration options are organic, but the weed spray isn't. I would have no problem recommending this company to someone.
Description of Work: The company came out to perform the end of season weed spray. The spray was applied in a timely fashion and my lawn was measured for inclusion in a regular maintenance plan if I should choose. The weed spray was effective and did a good job ridding my lawn of some of the creeping charlie that dominates it.

+ -1 moreThey are very good. I was looking for an organic fertilizer rather than pesticides and I called them up. They took the time to explain everything to me and I've been using them for about an year. If you are looking for an alternative to the traditional pesticide-based solution for fertilizer, they are certainly a company consider. My lawn hadn't gone downhill and it looks better than when I was doing it myself. However, they are not completely pesticide free unless you ask for it, but they do take measures to reduce pesticides when they have to use them.

I have .33 acre in West Bethlehem, which has never seen professional lawn treatment NLA was asked to take it on They did a detailed work up and made recommendations and they have all been followed Treatment will be done over a period of 12 months
Description of Work: So far, so good. ..they have performed an assessment of the lawn conditions and provided several treatments and aeration, in accordance with the analysis...they have been thorough and knowledgable....they have explained everything and documented it all as the process moved along...I am optimistic that the end results will be very positive but this will not be truly known until 2013... I have previously tried DIY with both chemicals and organic treatments, but the end results have been marginal at best...in particular I have an on-going problem with Japanese Stilt Grass, which has become very invasive...NLA believes that they can fix that problem and if they are able with their comprehensive approach to do so, and also upgrade the baseline lawn condition, i will be a true believer and give them A+ scores...
