I started doing technical work in Pike County when I was the de-facto IT technician and archivist for Milford Magazine in 2005. I've been building my own custom computers and setting up media centers for friends and family since the late 90s. We left Milford in 2010 for Scranton, Philly, and then Louisville, with my work in computers and home service mostly a side project as I worked part time for both UPS (load and sort supervisor) and FedEx (Ground maint. support and Flight Ramp Agent). "I had a thermostat changed. Service was good. The thermostat according to the tech the charge was 65 dollars. He was here for hour and half maybe. We got a bill for $ 465 I called and questioned and was told they charge $125 dollars / hour, which was fine. I did not know they charge for travel time which by the way was hour and half. We were not told this pre Service. Needless to say we would never have given them the job! Also they charged me over $100 dollars for the thermostat! And it was a generic questioned them about that also and they said nothing! In other words too bad! Very very dissapointed in them and also myself because I was stupid, and feel very cheated."
