Crawlspace was bone dry after 3 days of rain. Instead of a report saying that, I get a list of recommendations. Addition of a moisture mitigation system. There is already a working system in the space. Remove the insulation under the floors. Yeah. Expose all the water piping to freezing temperatures. Insulate the walls of the crawlspace. So, you want to remove good insulation and add it to the walls in an unheated space. I wanted an inspection not a sales pitch. Worthless company. I should sue if the realty deal falls through due to this"

Although a permit is required in South Orange for sump pump installation, Basements Love Us did not request a permit, nor did they obtain one from South Orange. The installed sump pump drains to our driveway. This is against Town Code, which mandates drainage to a dry well. Additionally, the sump pump runs NON-STOP. Our home is over a stream.
