Our service is top notch and fully efficient. Our trucks are perfectly equipped for moving with Pads, dollies, Plastic and much more. We provide Long Distance Moves across the entire country, directly from our West Coast HUBS located in AZ, CA, OR and WA. Or, we team with our partner companies to complete moves together. We are proud to provide a service that no other company offers; Dedicated Trucks. This means that your belongings are loaded on the truck and not combined with anyone else’s items (from/to west coast only). They are not transferred to other trucks or facilities in route which causes damage and loss of items (typical with van lines). We have a set loading day and unloading day. This is by far the safest way to ship. Our interstate rates are per 24ft moving van that holds up to 8,500lbs or 1400CuFt. Some customers require one truck and some require more. One truck holds the average 1800SqFt.
"J.J and his crew were amazing!!! They took their time and did not rush the job. They showed up with all of their supplies and took care of wrapping and moving high end furniture that my wife and I have spent 3 decades collecting. I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you !"

We understand moving can be stressful, and we’re here to make sure you get the help you need and deserve. We are the top company in this industry, so you don’t have to worry about the “guess work” of finding the right long-distance moving company. You already found the BEST! Since 2006 we have stayed the path of 100 percent customer satisfaction. This achievement illustrates the significant focus Move Quick has on our customers.
"In spite of numerous negative reviews about Move Quick, Inc., I opted to hire this company for my move from West Virginia to Los Angeles. I spoke to Phillip, the manager/owner, who convinced me that the posted complaints had been resolved and were exaggerations. However, I, too, was subjected to an exaggerated low bid in order to snag my business. I, too, experience problems with the pick up and the delivery dates. The movers were a day late in arriving, then quoted me a 67% increase in price, from $3,100 to $5,200. BUT I was stuck. The company already had my deposit money. Also, I was charged for one flight of stairs and an exaggerated inaccurate measurement of my front door to the truck. I had been told there was no fee for one flight. I had provided exact measurements for the items in my two rooms of furniture. True, I had 51 boxes instead of 40 but that did not warrant such an increase in price, 67% almost $2,000. Delivery was also problematic. I had told Move Quick, Inc. that I would be at my new home 25 days after the pick up, October 30, 2019. That should have been more than enough time for any truck to drive cross country. They made me wait until December 4, 2020, a total of 25 days to drive 2,400 miles. I made the drive solo in 5 days. Communication with the company once they have your money is near to impossible. It took threats and 6 days for Philip to respond. He then provided an insignificant $75 discount. My recommendation: go with a larger company than can provide an accurate estimate and deliver within a reasonable time. Also, use a company that uses the industry standard of moving cost based on the weight of your items. Don’t let Phillip tell you his method of charging based on volume is better. No one else does this, for a reason. Other estimates I had received were in the $3,700 range.I should have Booked Elsewhere!”"

Don Farr Moving & Storage is a family owned and operated independent moving company with over 30 years of experience. We have a fleet of close to a 100 vehicles and a staff of a 150 employees. Our offices are open 7 days a week and someone is available to answer the phone 24 hours a day.
"I'm not even sure where to start with this review. The only reason this gets 2 stars is because Maxine in the office was amazing, and the first 3 guys were decently nice. We have been planning this move for a little over a year, with more details set a few months ago and locked down into specifics when we scheduled a month ago, to move 2 apartments into a townhouse. 3 men were sent for the move, and instantly complained about the heat and stairs to my apartment as soon as they arrived. They were not equipped for this move, physically or with equipment. They used my tools to disassemble most of my furniture, and we moved a lot of boxes to the front door, disassembled furniture ourselves, just to make the move quicker so they could move on to my boyfriend's apartment after taking 3 hours to empty a 2 bedroom apartment, even after recruiting my friends for help. We were also charged for 2 mattress bags and 3 mirror cartons, they did not use any mirror cartons (they taped my one mirror for transport, we moved all other ourselves the night before), and only used a bag on my mattress - my box spring was not bagged and is torn. They moved on to my boyfriend's apartment, which had a loading dock and elevator, while I moved on to the new place. My boyfriend and 2 of my friends were helping them the entire time, which still took almost 3 hours because they insisted on taking apart furniture we were throwing away, dumpster diving in the things thrown out from college students in the building, and 2 of the guys disappearing for over an hour while the 3rd was taking double dolly loads down to the truck. They finally show up to our new place, 6 hours after it started (for what was quoted to be a 5-7 hour move). They instantly started complaining again, were careless with boxes, being rude to my friends and boyfriend. One guy fell pulling up a box on a dolly, one repeatedly told us he was going to throw up (he actually ended up bleeding on my stairs). Halfway through unloading, they said that "help" was "maybe" being sent, which 1 was nasty, rude, hateful man who also was too old to be doing, and another who never set foot in the house, these guys by the way had just came off of a 9 hour move. He was yelling at the other 3 that they were arguing too much and taking so long, throwing my boxes upstairs (2 of which we have found so far are broken), yelled at me and my friends for how things were packed. I finally asked that they leave everything on the first floor so it would get done and they would leave, which they ignored. We were also told if the "help" and the older gentleman from the first group left, the business would close. They never took proper breaks, EXPECTED us to have cold drinks for them (water was available to refill their bottles at all locations, and Gatorade at the new place), and we fed them pizza. They were not physically equipped to do this move, I'm certain this violated several labor laws, caused damage, had horrendous customer service, and cost us over $1,000 and several hours over what we were quoted because they were so ill prepared. My boyfriend and I are both coming off of severe injuries, which is why we hired movers. I was also excited to support a local, family owned business. I had never heard of Don Farr before, and now I see why. I will be speaking to the office about our experience first thing on Tuesday (Monday is a holiday), correcting the $1,000 over charge, and filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I wouldn't recommend hiring them to my worst enemy. Save yourself thousands, rent a U-Haul and hire their contracted movers."

Before your piano movers arrive, it’s a good idea to prep the piano for its journey to avoid damage, as well as clear a path to make the move as easy as possible. You can start by using bubble wrap and moving blankets to protect the keys, lids, and pedals. Drape moving blankets over the piano and secure them, if possible, to protect the surface from damage. Next, clear furniture and other obstructions out of the path from the piano to the door. It’s also wise to maintain a close spot for the moving truck to park out front.
Yes, it is absolutely worth it to hire piano movers. Pianos are heavy and bulky, which makes them very challenging to move safely and without causing damage to the piano and your home. Hiring piano movers is especially worthwhile if you need to move the instrument up or down staircases, as that can put you and your helpers at risk of serious injury. Overall, the price you’ll pay to hire a professional piano mover pales in comparison to the damage you could do to your piano or your home if you attempt the move yourself.
It is not necessary to tip piano movers, and workers from reputable companies generally won’t expect tips. However, if you’re pleased with the service and the movers are friendly and respectful, tipping can show your appreciation for how well the crew cared for what is likely a very expensive instrument. Tipping between $20 and $40 per mover is about average.
It is certainly possible to move a piano without hiring movers, but it’s not recommended. Not only will you need at least four people to lift and maneuver the piano, but getting it around tight corners and down flights of stairs might not be possible without the help of movers. Plus, pianos are exceptionally heavy and bulky, which means you and any helping hands are at risk of injury, as well as an increased risk of damaging your piano. Ultimately, it’s always worth it to call in a professional piano mover.
The average cost to move a piano is around $400, but your total will depend on the type of piano and your living situation—tight corners and flights of stairs will complicate the move. Moving an upright piano will be more affordable—around $250—and a full grand piano will cost closer to $550. Long-distance moves will bump all of these prices up and sometimes double them if the move is across state lines.
