Second generation family-owned masonry business providing exceptional quality work in Central PA. We specialize in chimney repairs, stonework, and historical brickwork & repointing.
"They left a huge gap between the retaining wall and the concrete and wanted to charge an additional 500 to fix what should have been included in the 2655 price. They used my electricity and water and left the front door open and the lights on when they left. Would NEVER hire again."

Gray Construction was established in February of 1988. The company was started with only a vision and a few hand tools. One of those tools was an old sledgehammer that was passed down by my great grandfather. He used that sledgehammer to drive railroad spikes into wooden sleepers during railroad construction. And in our humble beginnings we used that same sledgehammer to break up concrete. Today we use jack hammers with pneumatic concrete breakers on the machines. We have come a long way. "Over two months to get house plans. Communication was dismal and the majority of my phone calls and emails were ignored. After I put down my initial deposit. I was ignored for so many weeks, I was beginning to think the company was fake. Draftsman never asked a single question. Not a good look when each round of revisions are charged by the number of changes. My final payment was requested before receiving house plans. Payment was sent and plans were immediately provided despite never having discussed or seen electrical and plumbing, etc. There was an error on the final plans and it took an act of Congress to get it changed. To be fair the final product was excellent but the ulcers I developed over this whole process would make me rethink using Evolution."
