"Our general contractor hired RT Concrete to pour a patio, walkway, and retaining wall. Things started out smooth but when we started having questions about the work we were either blown off or met with hostility. Our main patio has a boarder that had to be repoured because it immediately cracked. He tried to tell us it was fine until we pushed for a fix. When our project was finished we found cracking, footsteps, things not done to the dimensions provided, our sealant bubbled, they left a tarp on the newly sealed main patio causing major discoloration. When our general contractor reached out to see what could be done he was repeatedly push off or met with silence. It has now been about 4 weeks with no word or resolution. We are in the process of filing a complaint with the CCB."

"So the concrete foundation was poured but it was missing but it was missing all of our one anchor. There are walls that are too high and too low. They didn't use vibrator on the concrete so there's several places where the concrete didn't settle in and there are exposed rebar. So we hired another engineer to come up with fixes for the problem and the engineer said that the project should take 140 yards of concrete but the contractor ordered 189 yards so there's a lot of wasted concrete."

"Lakai fixed our sunken concrete block on our walkway. The new pour really matched the rest of the walkway, we were really impressed. Lakai also added a new concrete walkway to the front garden gate, we have soggy clay soil and the new walkway has also improved the look of the front. For a driveway that is 200 square feet, you can expect to pay $600 to $1,800, and for a driveway that is 500 square feet, that cost averages $1,500 to $4,500. Resurfacing your driveway will give you the look and feel of a new surface without the hefty cost.
