Description of Work: We are technologically illiterate. We hired Techology to hook up our tv to network stations and connect our printer to our new wireless internet. Everything was perfect EXCEPT one of our 2 computers was NOT hooked up to the printer and this has caused many, continual problems. The technician is as nice a fellow as your will find anywhere but he did forget to connect one or our computers to our wireless printer and that was a big reason for hiring technology. I am in a quandary. The tech has continued to answer out telephoned questions for almost a month, which is above and beyond the call of duty.

Description of Work: My Mac laptop was glitchy, slow and kept freezing on me. They discovered that my hard-drive was failing. I had not backed up anything (bad me!) and was panicked that I would lose everything. They spent almost 2 days coaxing my hard drive to keep going long enough to back up everything on an external hard drive. Then, they replaced the hard drive, put everything back into my computer and set everything up so that it defaulted to what I had set everything to in the past. They were faster than expected and worth every penny that I spent with them. I wholeheartedly recommend using them.

+ 4 moreWe found Tekology after hearing gleaming reviews from one of our friends and we had seen their cars running around town from time to time. We originally had them over to repair 2 old computers that were on their last leg. When Tim and Nate came over they were both friendly, clean cut and very professional. They spent some time with us getting to know our needs and after looking at our computers they gave us an estimate for repair and then recommended that we consider going with new computers. After we gave them our budget they worked with us and found us an amazing new laptop and desktop. They came and installed the new systems, transferred our data and trained us on how to use everything. When they installed the new computers they mentioned that they not only do Apple and PC stuff but they also do audio/video stuff too! Within a few months we had them back to install a home theater that is the envy of our neighbors and friends and they also set up a Sonos music system all throughout the house that is amazing. It doesn't stop there, we also recently had them install a new security system that we can control from anywhere. We can lock and unlock doors, control the thermostat, and monitor the house with the cameras they installed. Everything is super easy to use too. The best part is that they are never rushed and really take their time. Their attention to detail is unmatched and the fact that they use fixed pricing is great because they are always spot on or under what they quote. We can't say enough about Nate, Tekology and the entire team. It's so nice to have someone that we can trust with all of the technology in our home. Thanks Tekology!!!

We have used Nate and Tekology for other computer work at out business and home before and then asked about having him do some home theater work. He let us know he does it all the time and its actually a big part of his business. Having someone with great people skills that is also very knowledgable is really a rarity in the technology world. Nate and his tech were and have always been so friendly and patient with us as we upgrade to new technology. Description of Work: Nate has worked with our computers on many occasions (all for different reasons). He has installed more memory, hooked up a wireless network and printer, recommended and installed anti-virus software (far superior to what we originally had) and consulted and helped us buy a laptop for our daughter.
