"This is a sad day when you have to write a negative review on a business run by your friends. On 11/14/19 I contacted Matt Black, owner of K & B Landscaping, out of Yukon, Oklahoma, to get an estimate on a wooden fence and bamboo removal. Got the contact from a friend I closely worked with. My story sounds like many of the reviews I have since read on this company. Lots of promises, and no follow through. A contract was made on November 15, 2019, which stated that the chain link fence would be left in tack behind the new wood fence. The chain link fence was shared with neighbors behind and beside me. I requested the fence be left because I have small dogs and wanted the extra protection of both fences. Matt asked me if he could use the chain link fence poles to the rear of my house when putting up the wooden fence. I told him he was the expert, and I would let him decide what would be best. When the fence was done, the chain link fence on the side of my house had been completely removed. On the back fence, he removed the top rail of the chain link and slid new 8’ poles over the existing 4’poles. The new poles allow the fence to sway back and forth when the wind blows. On 2/4/20, I told Matt that the chain link itself was left flapping in the wind, not connected to anything. He said his workers should not have left it like that. He asked me to contact the two neighbors involved behind me for permission to go in their yards. I got permission from one neighbor on Feb, 29 and told Matt. On March 26 I told him that I got permission from the 2nd house behind me. The owner was also concerned about the hanging chain link and asked for Matt’s company name and phone number. I gave it to him. On April 7th, I sent Matt a text because I had not heard from him since March 3rd. He did respond and apologized, saying the delay was due to rain. He said he would come by mid-week but I never heard from him. On April 14th, I contacted him again and said it was an eyesore to the neighbors. His response was, “I’ll let you know when I can do that”. On April 25th, I sent a text and asked Matt not to forget me and the chain link but got no response. On June 13th, I sent still another text to Matt and told him that I was disappointed that he hadn’t responded. In late July I sent a text to his fiancée, my co-worker, who no longer works with me and told her the story. I never heard a word from either one of them. I sent a letter and email to K & B Landscaping on August 14, letting them know I would be writing reviews about the mess they left my fence in and have yet to hear from them."

This is an owner run and operated tile, home improvement and general remodeling company. You'll deal with the owner himself from the beginning until he finishes the job.
"Horrible, Please look at the pictures, this is just a small sample of how bad my house was trashed by Garrett Underwood, Underwood Tile, this type of dust was in EVERY room and has taken months to clean up and I am still trying to remedy this disaster. Do not hire this person!"

There are a few ways to make your deck look new without professional power washing. First, you can use either store-bought cleaners or dish soap and water to mop your deck regularly to clean off accumulated dirt. To clean your deck and remove mold, mix two gallons of warm water with a ½ cup of distilled white vinegar or apple cider vinegar, rinse the area, and then scrub with a stiff-bristled broom.
The cost to professionally pressure wash your deck is $150 on average. This cost can range from $100 to $600, depending on the size of your deck and its condition.
For an average deck of about 300 square feet, you can expect to pay around $100. However, if you have a spacious 1,000-square-foot deck or more, expect that cost to be closer to $300 to $400. Likewise, if it’s been a long time since you deep cleaned your deck, the deck professional might need extra time and to use deck-specific detergent, which will increase the overall cost.
You should have your deck professionally cleaned twice a year—once in the spring and once in the fall. A springtime cleaning wipes away grime and mold that accumulated during the wet winter months, making it sparkly clean for summer use. Likewise, cleaning your deck in the fall allows you to wash away grease and leftover mess from the fun summer months rather than letting them soak into your deck over the winter.
Yes, you need to thoroughly clean the deck surface before staining your deck. Dirt, debris, and mildew can settle on the surface of your wood. If you do not properly clean it, these stains will get trapped between the wood and the stain. Not only does this present an unsightly surface, but your wood will only partially be protected by the stain, meaning you'll need to stain again sooner.
There are ways to clean your deck to help maintain a clean appearance. You can easily remove surface-level dirt and grime by wetting your deck with a hose and doing a quick scrub with store-bought deck cleaner monthly.
However, investing in professional deck cleaning services near you at least twice a year is worth it. This service saves you time and ensures that your deck will avoid accidentally becoming scratched by blasting the pressure washer at the wrong angle.
