Very good price compared to other companies though at that price there was less customizability. Saleman was quick, efficient and not pushy. Installed on our schedule and the installers were very professional and unobtrusive. We have called to have other window's replaced already.

We got quotes from a few companies, but Empire had the best pricing and were very upfront about what they offered and the cost. There was no hard sell, which was nice because we knew what we wanted. He had all his gadgets and samples should we have wanted to full presentation, but it was nice to skip ahead to the price. He also let us know upfront that they had about a 4-week wait for installation and made sure that would be okay for us so there were no surprises on waiting for scheduling. They came to install them as scheduled, and did a good job cleaning up. We also got a follow-up customer service call to ensure we were happy and everything was installed properly. They were flexible since we both work and had evening and weekend hours for the sales call and measuing, which was convenient. Overall we were pleased with the experience and plan to have them replace our other windows when we can afford it.

Overall, it was a great experience! They did a great job and great job with clean-up as well. Just terrific service! We also received a $2000 rebate back.

The pricing was reasonable. They were very punctual. The work was excellent. The two gentlemen that came to do the work were very nice.

They were prompt. They were efficient. Total process for 10 windows was ~3 hours. Cleaning up was minor.

The owner of Empire Windows gave out to give the initial pitch & estimate. He was very knowledgeable and nice, and spent about 45-60 minutes at our place. The estimate came in around $2600. Our only complaint is he offered a "if you sign now, I'll give you a one-time deal of $2200." As we wanted to have a couple estimates from different contractors, we didn't appreciate such pressure. After selecting Empire Windows, they returned in about 1-2 weeks for exact measurements. They accepted an Angie's List discount, but we added some extra features to our windows. Six weeks after final measurements, our windows were installed. The workers showed up a half hour early at 8:30 that day, and installed all eight windows and left by 1pm. We were impressed by their courtesy and efficiency. We were concerned a bit with lead dust, as we own an older 1946 home and have a 1.5 year old toddler. Thankfully Empire did not use any power tools in the removal of the old windows, but otherwise did not appear to minimize lead dust in any way.

I was truly impressed. They had the job completed in about 2 1/2 hours from start to finish. The windows look great, and the work area was left very clean. Also, the job was completed in the time quoted from final measurements to actual instalation.

The experience with Empire was fantastic from start to finish. Window replacement is a nasty business, and these people are as trustworthy as they come. They negotiated a fair price, and did a quality installation. Both the salesman and the installer were personable, professional, and efficient. Just trust these guys to give you the best price, and forget about the rest. A real class act.

The experience went pretty good but I had a windowsill that needed to be replaced. They could have spoke up about it. My windows were on time and they cleaned up after themselves. It took them half a day to do the job.

Scheduling was professional. Workers were punctual. Clean-up was good. A couple of windows needed to be recaulked. Crew came back the next day to redo it. No problems. Excellent work. Very nice windows.

It went beautifully! This was the lowest estimate for windows and the best salesman. He was not pushy and gave us a great deal. The measurements were done a few weeks after we signed the contract and then I randomly e-mailed the company to check on the status of our windows and within 30 minutes they e-mailed me back with a day and time for installation. Great company!!

They were very good and they were reasonably priced. They were very nice and professional to deal with. They didn't try to push any extra stuff on me.

It went well. The first two first two vendors I talked with were only interested in selling me their top of the line windows even after I had inquired about their less expensive models which I know they carried (estimates were $9,200 - $11,800). The Empire salesman listened and showed me several double pane models in the lesser expensive categories but still of high quality. They even offer a discount if you decide that evening. After enduring the first two companies' pitches and estimates, that worked fine for me. The installation took only a half day and the installers cleaned up everything well and walked me through their operation and maintenance. Most of the windows were framed by a lot of natural stained woodwork and to my surprise nothing was scratched! A little touch-up was needed on two of the painted frames but that is to be expected. Everything looks good and works well.

They did a great job. They were very timely and professional. They have good follow up and honored their warranty in coming out and replacing a window after it cracked. They were clean when they were in my house and I would use them again. They did 20+ windows in one day.

They were very good. I had a problem with the windows and they came out and fixed it right away. The man I called for was excellent.They were competitive.

In the past five years we have had around $15,000 worth of improvements done, and this was the smoothest and most professional work by far. From the time of the initial call until completion it was 2 months, but it was worth the wait. The sales person, Mark Polomsky, was very friendly and professional, easy-going and not high-pressure at all. He gave us a great deal on the cost, another person did the measuring, the installers Sean and John were very no-nonsense and professional, and seemed to honestly care about what they were doing. They were very thorough in their work and fastidious in their cleanup. The only negative, and for which we were not prepared, was the odor of the vinyl and caulking afterward. It took about three days for it to be gone, but it was only about as strong as if painting a single room elsewhere in the house. However, the results were well worth it. The downstairs is much warmer now, and the furnace kicks on less than half as often as it did before the job.

I liked him as a person but I felt uncomfortable with the sales tactic. It was a high-pressure sale. He wanted me to make a decision before I even saw the window sample. My #1 factor was price and the salesmen knew that. He just wanted to talk price and pressure me before I saw their product. He wanted me to make an immediate decision (that evening) or he would up the price. He made me feel like I was taking up his precious time, when he was also taking up my time.

THE SALES MAN WAS VERY HELPFUL. HE WAS ABOUT THE 10TH PERSON I SAW, AND COMPARED TO EVERYONE ELSE HE GOT STRAIGHT TO THE POINT AND DID NOT GIVE INFLATED PRICES. I DID HAVE A LITTLE PROBLEM WITH ONE ON THE WINDOWS WHEN IT WAS INSTALLED, AND HE PROMPTLY CAME BACK OUT, REORDERED THE WINDOW AND FIXED THE WINDOW. THE WINDOWS ARE WONDERFUL. THERE IS NO SOUND, NO DRAFT, AND THEY LOOK VERY NICE AS WELL.

Price was lower than other estimates. Quality of windows is excellent. Cleaned up mess when left. The only issue I have is that one person demolished while one person installed. The house had no windows most of the day, so flies and all kinds of bugs kept coming in. Also, all of our window trim and woodwork was damaged. This may have been inevitable due to the age of the windows (1940s) but we have been forced to repair every single window trim due to the damage.

I would recommend them to anyone. Very polite and cleaned up. The owner was outstanding! Very good!

The windows were pricey, but the quality was worth paying for. They worked to create a payment plan.
