Description of Work: The cut down 2 large cottonless cottonwoods and ground stumps.

Description of Work: They evaluated our Ash trees, nurtured some, recommended removal of some, and came in the winter to do the removals. Prompt, courteous, careful. They cleaned up well.

Description of Work: While their work is good work, their professionalism is lacking. In the process of doing the work the finial of a fountain was broken. When I called, the owner said he would check into it. All that was done was to place the broken piece in place - no repair, no fixing. I will not use their services in the future.

Description of Work: They wanted to charge me $25 for an estimate so I did not even bother with them. They said if they do the job they would apply it toward their charge. In my opinion, that is unacceptable because if they are too high, you already wasted $25.

Description of Work: I have used Back Tree Service two times. First time in July of 2011 and second time in June of 2012. Both times they were quick to come and give the estimate but I had to call over and over again just to get them to make an appointment to do the work. I had them trim a couple trees in 2011 and they pruned three more in June 2012. On June 25, they came out again to give an estimate to do more trimming and cutting back of some bushes and trees. Like I said, they are quick to give the estimate but I have not heard from them since to schedule the work. I have called three times and they take your name and number, but no one has ever called back. Don't call Back Tree Servce if you need the work done the same year!!!!!!!

Description of Work: My estimates for taking care of my tree were anywhere between $475-750. Backtree estimate was $2500 with removal of the tree for $3800. Although he is a supposed arborist, he was the only estimate that encouraged to remove the tree at a highly inflated price

Description of Work: They took down five or six trees of varying size, hauled the trees, shredded and hauled the trash, cleaned up completely, ground the stumps and seeded/strawed the areas. In the past they have been most prompt at responding to emergency situations.

Description of Work: CUT DOWN THE WRONG TREE EVEN WHILE TOLD IT WAS THE WRONG TREE. THEY CONTINUED TO CUT WHILE THEY CONFIRMED IT WAS THE WRONG TREE. BY THEN, TOO MUCH HAD TO BEEN REMOVED BY THEIR ESTIMATION AND THEY HAD TO CONTINUE CUTTING DOWN A HEALTHY TREE. MR. BACK TOLD US WE WOULD HAVE TO PAY FULL PRICE FOR BOTH TREES. THEY FINALLY COMPROMISED TO HALF PRICE WITHOUT AN APOLOGY FOR DECREASING THE VALUE OF OUR PROPERTY AND A PLACE FOR OUR KIDS TO PLAY. THEY PROMISED TO MORE CLEARLY MARK TREES.
