"I am posting this review again because I don’t know if it got posted and I wanted to say that our family is absolutely thrilled with the work that Todd and his team did on our basement!!!! We recently moved into a new house and needed a large, 1500 square foot basement finished. Todd helped design the perfect space which includes a separate room with a walk in closet, a full bath with tiled walls and floors and even a hide away play area for our kids!! The lighting and fixtures were great too!! We trusted Todd the whole way through and he did not disappoint one bit!! We didn’t have any problems or disagreements during the entire project!! We love it so much and our kids are already playing in the big open room!! Thanks again Todd and team for making our home even more beautiful and for completing the project on time!! "Access to the rear of our condo was very difficult as we are on a ravine in the middle section of a 6 unit building. Although the effort required was considerable, the River Mill team was always professional and focused. They obviously take great pride in their work. The job was completed on schedule with minimal disruption to our home. The new windows have proved to be energy efficient and were seamlessly installed. The owner, Matt Pomeroy, was thorough and responsive from the initial estimate, plans and permitting, through completion. We highly recommend River Mill Construction!"

"SemBro Was a pleasure to deal with. Their price was competitive; they started and finished when they said they would and the quality of workmanship was excellent. They replaced my cabinets; kitchen flooring; countertops and sink/faucet. They added a backsplash and installed a dishwasher. I had the range installed by the appliance supplier because it was a range with a down draft fan that required special installation and duct modification. Even though the experience was trying, eating pizzas and fast food for 2 1/2 weeks, the people at SemBro made it as easy as possible. They cleaned up every night and made as little disruption as possible. I would give them my highest recommendation and would not hesitate to use them again."

"Steven seems like a nice enough guy and he seems to have sufficient technical knowledge of tiling. That said, Steven either has very low detail focus or exerts as little effort as possible (I truly don't know which). He does only "OK" work on his own (some uneven tiles and non-uniform grouting) but wants the customer to work side-by-side with him throughout the job to tell him whenever he does something that the customer believes is unacceptable. His justification for this is that "everyone has different opinions" about what is acceptable. So, if you aren't diligent in catching poor work, you will get merely an OK job. To be fair, he will gladly fix customer-identified problems. If you have the time and desire to work with him throughout the job to point out problems, then he may fine. If you, like us, are busy, are not a price buyer, and want a motivated professional who delivers objectively high-quality tile work with minimal "babysitting", you should probably look elsewhere."
