"Terrible service. The following problem is one out of several that we've had with Orkin North Olmsted. We had yellow jackets and called to have Orkin come to eradicate them as we had a service agreement with them. They sent someone two weeks ago. He said he couldn't do anything about them as it was a two-person job because a ladder was needed. I was okay with that. He called the service manager (SM) while he was still at our house, and the SM was supposed to call me. No call during that week. On Monday of last week, I had to call Orkin to ask what was going on as I had never received a call (and I had called the previous Friday to leave a message for the SM). I was quite angry and asked to speak to the branch manager (BM). I told the BM what had transpired, and told him that it was bad customer service on the SM's part to not give me a call. The BM said that I had been scheduled for that Monday, and someone would be out in an hour or so. It would have been nice to be notified about that! The two-person crew came, looked at where the yellow jackets were getting in, didn't get on a ladder, eyeballed spraying the dust stuff, and said they should be gone in about 4 days. I was told either he (team leader?), or the SM would call to check in a few days. Guess what? You're right--no call. In the meantime, the yellow jackets are getting worse, we can now hear them in our wall, and they're continuing to get loose in our house. So yesterday (Aug. 21), I called the office again, and I was livid. Cut to the chase--I cancelled our service agreement, called another company (locally owned), they arrived today, and guess what? They did the job properly, and the yellow jackets are dying off. Would I recommend Orkin? Not on your life."
