Our services include Mold Testing, Remediation and Water Extraction as well as Air Duct Cleaning and Sanitizing. We have more than thirty years experience in the building industry. We are capable of repairing any damage caused by mold, water, fire or the remediation itself. We have full compliment of licensed sub- contractors, Electric, Plumbing, Masons etc. Servicing all of New Jersey.

"AMS is our HERO. The city sewer backed up and filled one third of our basement just before kickoff on Super Bowl Sunday. By halftime George had arrived. He calmly assessed the situation, and set up a time to return the following morning. His workers were polite, professional, and meticulous, and did an unbelievable job of cleaning up a horrible mess. By the end of the day the damaged items, sewage , and much of the smell was gone. Huge fans and a germ-killing ionizer ran for three days. When they were finished the floor was bone dry and absolutely clean. It occurred to us that the floor could not have been better cleaned if it were being prepped for painting. So we will be doing so. AMS has innate integrity and a wealth of knowledge across a wide spectrum. Any project can be entrusted to their competent hands. Chester and Jean Lehmann"

"These guys were hired by my landlord for a lead paint remediation job and they were TERRIBLE. They didn’t follow ANY of the EPA’s procedures for the RRP rule, OR any of NJ’s rules for abatement. They didn’t give me the required paperwork, they didn’t properly confine the work space, they didn’t cover or protect my personal items, they didn’t tell me to turn off my HVAC unit, they didn’t even keep me out of the work space!!! They dry scraped. They didn’t clean properly. They didn’t do a clearance when they were done. When they came back to do dust wipe sampling to show that the house was lead safe in order to pass inspection for the town, the guy collecting the sample didn’t FOLLOW any of the correct procedures to get a good sample. He didn’t wear gloves. He didn’t mask of the area he was taking the sample from. He did everything wrong. When I confronted him, he said he would have to “double check” to see if I was right. He doesn’t need to. I am. These guys are total frauds and are akin to waste disposal companies dumping toxic waste in the ocean just to get rid of it. God sees your sins."

We do Home Inspections for Real Estate transactions anywhere in New Jersey. Inspections of condos, townhomes, single family homes and multiple family homes. We also conduct termite inspections and radon testing. All three inspections can be bundled for one low price. We provide our customers with detailed reports containing a lot of photos so they can see the actual issue. We also offer pre-listing walk-throughs and final walk throughs. If you are listing your home have us come through it to see what another inspector might find. Call us today to schedule your inspection. I have done hundreds of home inspections and I am very passionate about my work. I go above and beyond what is required. For example, It is only mandatory to check a "representative number" of outlets, windows etc. I check every electrical outlet and every window, etc. that I can get my hands on. I don't take shortcuts with my inspections or my reports. You will receive a report that is very detailed and filled with lots of photos for your records. My clients and their attorneys rave about my work. During your inspection, I happily walk you through all the important features of your new home. I am also very knowledgeable in the construction and house building process in regards to framing, electric, plumbing and heating. I have built two of my personal homes as well as many smaller projects over the past 20 years. This technical experience allows me to notice important details, others may miss, that could affect your buying process. I am very proud of my work and stand behind it 100%. Please read my reviews on Angie's list and know that my past customers would say the same.

"I had got my House Inspected from Mark on Aug 2022. everything went fine until I moved into the house. Couple of months after move-in I found old dried water marks in storage and HVAC room in my basement. I was hoping that these water marks were owing to old water heater leaks but then in early 2023 there was heavy rainfall and the HVAC room basement started leaking water into the room. It was then I found that there was a crack in the basement wall. This crack is next the furnace duck and quite easily visible. Mark suggested that he is a season home inspector but I doubt because he missed visible evidence of prior basement flooding and a basement crack that was easily visible. I contacted Mark and send him proofs of his grave mishaps. He asked for proofs whether i have applied the suggested fix per inspection report, to which I promptly responded and then he stopped responding on my emails. He is not the person to get you house inspected"

Radon detection and reduction services FAQs

You can buy DIY radon test kits from a home improvement store and conduct radon testing, but these tests are often inaccurate. No matter the result, you should supplement DIY testing with professional radon detection and analysis. DIYers only have access to passive radon tests, which aren’t as reliable as active tests that professionals use. Plus, it’s very easy for DIYers to make mistakes during testing, leading to inaccurate results. If you’re moving into a new home, have concerns about radon, or are due for an updated test, hire a professional.

Radon testing costs depend on whether you hire a professional radon inspector or DIY test. You can expect to pay $150 to $800 to hire a local radon inspector, and home-testing kits range in price from $15 to $250 from home improvement stores. However, it’s best to trust a professional inspector with this task to ensure accurate results. Plus, if you have radon in your home, your testing company can develop a mitigation protocol to keep you and your family safe from the dangerous gas, so it’s well worth the money to hire a professional.

If radon is present in your home, you can expect to pay around $1,000 for a radon mitigation system or between $780 and $1,250 in most cases. The exact price will depend on the severity of the radon leak, home size, and the protocol the radon specialist develops to remove radon from your home and keep it out. Your foundation type will also affect your radon mitigation system cost, as unfinished basements will cost about $4,600 to seal and ventilate, while crawl spaces without a foundation slab may need extra encapsulation, costing $1,500 to $15,000.

Yes, radon testing is absolutely necessary if you suspect the presence of this hazardous gas, and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recommends testing for all homes in the country. Radon is a pervasive natural gas that can leak through your home’s foundation and seep into the living areas. Unfortunately, the gas is highly carcinogenic and is the second leading cause of lung cancer. Radon testing is crucial for keeping you and your family safe from harm, so hire a radon mitigation specialist to test your home if you suspect its presence in your home.

In most states, radon testing companies don’t need to be licensed or certified by the state, but the companies that analyze the test results and develop radon mitigation protocols do. You should choose a radon testing company that suits your needs, but before hiring a mitigation specialist, check our state licensing tool to make sure the company is properly certified.
