"Worst customer service I've ever received. Burton advertised a $149 snake for a main line. My wife called around 12'oclock noon to schedule an appointment. We were told a technician would be at our house between 1:00pm and 4:00pm. They never showed up. We called around 5:00pm and asked if there was still someone coming. They assured there was. No one showed up. Around 6:00pm we called back and asked if there was still someone coming. We were told this time an emergency had happened and a different tech would be out shortly. No one showed up. We called back at 7:00pm again to find out if someone was coming... The dispatchers put me hold, offered to send someone out for an after hours fee of $249 and if we wanted to get the $149 rate we would have to wait until Monday. I asked if there was any kind of compensation or discount since they wasted my whole day, they said no. I asked if I could speak to a manager and conveniently there wasn't anyone available. The dispatcher then very sarcastically said, "OK then honey, have a good night." With folks like that I'd hate to see what kind of actual work they perform. RUN!! Go somewhere else. Very disrespectful and unprofessional."

Appt set from 12-4pm same day. 3pm that day a sales manager comes by, says they don't have a ph# for me. I gave it to him. He said there's 1 guy working and he probably won't be able to make it today. He recommended I call another company if I wanted it done that day. So I did. Today is Monday October 7th, 2 days after I requested service. I get an email from April saying they don't have a phone number for me and asking me to call to arrange service. How do they lose my number twice? And further, who calls for weekend service for a plumbing issue but can wait till Monday because of a company's incompetence? Not me. I called a competitor and they made it that day. Aksarben ARS was a waste of my time on Saturday. And the email this morning asking to reschedule service made my jaw hit the floor. I do not recommend Aksarben ARS."

Water softeners also need to be calibrated so that they don’t make your water too soft, as soft water poses just as many risks as hard water. Your water softener size is based on your total household water consumption. In most cases, you can assume the average household member will use around 75 gallons per day.
