"LVP looks great and tile in the kitchen look great but the trim and baseboards were not finished and I had to have another contractor come in and install them. The stairwell was sanded and stained and I was told they could match the stain for the stairs to the LVP and that wasn’t true either. The stairs came out pink. Now I’m having another contractor come in and fix. I would not recommend to a friend."

"North Carolina Water Consultants were amazing. I live on LKN and knew I had a bad water problem (hard water, water spots on shower glass, washer had buildup and wasn't cleaning properly, etc). The owner came out and did a free water test and then gave me several options to address each of the problems identified by the filtration test. Once I decided on what solution I wanted they scheduled the installation within a week. The crew that cam to install were very professional, on time, courteous, and knowledgable. I am couple months into having it installed and couldn't be more happy!"

"John was referred to us by trusted friends so our expectations were already high, but I have to say he exceeded them.. by a lot. We had an emergency water heater situation that turned into upgrading and replacing not only the water heater (to tankless gas) but handling a few other problematic plumbing issues in the house that I had been either putting off or just didn’t know who to ask for help. Surprisingly none of this broke the bank, which was my biggest fear in addressing all of these various issues. Service, response time, follow up were all 100% and well. He also made entirely sure that I understood the new system, where and when it needed any maintenance, and how to get ahold of him pretty much any time. "Project turned out great! Rob was on time every day and very proficient. The job included replacing 2 toilets, 2 sinks, replacing a garden tub insert with a nice walk-in shower insert and reinforced walls with extra studs for grab bars. He also replaced hardwood floors in the bathroom that had some moisture damage. Rob's work was top-notch. His price was very fair, nearly half that of the contractors that advertise constantly through the mail. Construction was completed nearly to the day he forecasted. He was very courteous which was also important to my elderly mother, whom all the work was for. A+ rating across the board! Thanks again, Rob!"

"I contacted KitchenTuneUp/BathTune-Up to get an estimate to remodel my master bathroom and kitchen. Tom Taube came to my home and listened to what I disliked about the current spaces. We discussed ways to make a bigger shower and gain more storage space in the bathroom. In the kitchen, I had dark cabinets I wanted to update but stay affordable. I also wanted to keep my granite countertops. I disliked my "closet" pantry. I received very comprehensive proposals listing out not just what labor was to be performed but also budgeted items for materials so that I would have a full understanding of how much the remodels would actually cost me. I started these remodels right before the pandemic started in March of 2020. And even though there were a few delays caused by the virus, my projects went very smoothly. I was provided an online schedule of activities so that I would know who was coming and what they were doing (when my dumpster would arrive, drywalling, plumbing work, painting, tiling work, etc.). I liked that there was a final walkthrough before final payment was made so that I could address any issues I saw after the work had been completed. I love my new bathroom and kitchen now (after 20 years of hating them). I find that the bathroom is part of my sanctuary to relax and renew myself. My kitchen is now updated and beautiful with exceptional storage. I no longer have to store appliances and dishes in my bedroom closets. Bathroom: $37,000 (new shower, freestanding tub with tub filler, new vanity with new countertop, fixtures and sinks, new toilet, new cabinet over toilet); Kitchen $30,000 (cabinet redoor with box painting and new cabinets along with a custom island to house a drawer microwave). I was so impressed with the company, its employees and craftmanship, after being offered a position with them in 2021 as a sales rep for bathrooms, I am a happy employee now creating happy customers."

"We contracted with Ed Griffith and his Cabinet Guys to remodel our kitchen in Dec 2019 - Jan 2020. The process and results were outstanding! While researching various contractors / remodelers, we wondered if Ed and his team could be as good as his 5-star reviews, but we were very impressed from our first meeting. Ed's craftmanship and precision were evident throughout the remodel. In the beginning, he explained that his team hand makes the cabinets for our desired kitchen footprint, guides us to choose the cabinet door design, tells us various places to shop for stone ( we chose quartz) for the countertop & island, and places to shop for backsplash tile. From looking at HGTV shows, we expected "demo day" to be a dusty, loud, and messy experience, but there was no mess at all. Ed and his team carefully dismantled the cabinets so that they could be donated to a charity. After every day of the process, Ed or his tradesmen cleaned up the kitchen area and the garage area (the staging area). It was particularly dusty when the stone was cut onsite for the kitchen sink and stovetop, but his workmen not only vacuumed the floors, they wiped the kitchen floor with cloths. Every tradesman (electricians, plumbers, stone workers, etc.) was excellent, and all of them had high praise for Ed. There were a few "surprises" (such as our walls and bar wall aren't perfectly straight), but Ed always knew how to handle the situation. We liked the fact that he was always calm and knowledgeable on every subject. In conclusion, the results were better than we expected. For example, we didn't expect that the inside of each cabinet door had a similar design to what was on the front side. We also didn't expect that the sides of the island and the bar wall would have a nice design. We also didn't expect that Ed and his team would vacuum and wipe out every drawer to minimize our cleanup effort. We highly recommend Ed for any remodeling need, and we plan to use his services in the future."
