AIR SUMMIT HEATING & COOLING

I had another company tell me my HVAC was too old to maintain and tried to rush me into buying a new unit for well over $5000. They seemed suspicious so I called Air Summit. He came and repaired the unit with normal maintenance. Air Summit has earned all my business and I would not go anywhere else.

I called at 9am and the owner said he could make it to my house between 4 and 5 pm. He called at a little before 1 pm and said he was on the way. He was polite diagnosed the problem quickly then pointed out that my humidifier was not working properly. We made an appointment for him to repair this at a later date and said he would waive the service fee for the repair on the next visit. As an independent contractor myself I always support others in small business and Randy exemplifies the consummate professional. I would not hesitate to hire him again and I will recommend him to my friends and family.

I paid $2,700. That was for the furnace and an A coil, which is kind of a separate, additional piece. I just feel that they are honest and fair with me. I feel like when we do have a problem they tell us the truth about it and don't try to sell us additional things that we might not need.

I have used them for a number of years. I think we pay for a spring and fall deal. It was $98. We have a heat pump and I have found that they know how to work on heat pumps and a lot of heating and cooling companies don't. I want to continue using them because they know how to work on heat pumps. I got a furnace replaced by them one time. I don't have too much to compare the pricing to.

As always, technician was on time, professional and dealt with the problem and didn't try to upsell us on services or products we don't need. Had us up and running within a couple of hours. We have always had really good luck with Air Summit and will continue to use them for our heating and cooling needs.

I woke up on a Monday morning freezing and temp in house was 55 degrees. Found cold air blowing out of air ducts. I bought this house less than a year ago and first called my home warranty company. They couldn't guarantee I'd hear from anyone for 24 hours even though this was an emergency (it was 7 degrees outside). I called Air Summit because I knew the previous house owners had used them and were local here in Lee's Summit. I called them about 7:30 in the morning and they said they could be here by 10:30 am.... They called around 9:30 and said they'd be here in 5 minutes. They were and told me I needed a new igniter. They recommended a better, little more expensive kind than the one my furnace used. Then I asked how much for a new furnace. John gave me prices for different options. Told me if I choose a new furnace in a few days I could apply what I paid for the igniter towards the new purchase. Very happy with John's and this company's quick response and service!

Air Summit was fast and fair. They performed quality work and left no detail overlooked. They provided next day service and got the AC unit installed and working the day after I called them. No one else would be able to get it done until the following Monday, which was not acceptable to me with my 91-year-old mother living with us and the weather hot and humid. They are a great group. I highly recommend them.

l7/25/2012 - A/C stopped working during heat wave. Air Summit came just a few hours after our initial call, replaced the capacitor in our outside compressor and got us cooling for a very reasonable fee. 7/26/2012 - A/C not working again. Air Summit came out that morning and troubleshot issue being a bad circuit board in the furnace. I had the board replaced again a reasonable fee and A/C was working. 8/5/2012 - A/C not working again. Air Summit came out that morning and discovered a leaky A-Coil. We spent 3 days deciding on replacing A-Coil or entire A/C system. On 8/9/2012 we decided to replace A-Coil. We had a lower quote from another company; however, the other company could not install until 8/10/2012. We had Air Summit replace as they were willing to work with the price and had the A-Coil installed and A/C running on 8/9/2012. I was impressed on the quick service and professionalism Air Summit Heating and Cooling was able to give during one of the longest and most severe heat waves in history. Within hours of our initial call, they were onsite fixing the A/C. I felt very comfortable with their prices and they were willing to help where they could. Both techs that were onsite were professional and answered all my questions. My reasoning for a and quot;Band quot; on price and quality. * We did have another company propose a lower price on a unit that matched our current system; however, Air Summit worked with us on price to make themselves competitive. * Air Summit used a and quot;Carrierand quot; A-Coil to put into our and quot;Goodmanand quot; system. It had to be retrofitted and although it was done very good, it does not have factory appearance. Overall I was very pleased with Air Summit Heating and Cooling.

The company did a very good work. We were satisfied with their services and product It was really an energy-efficient one. Surely, we will consider them again in the future.

Mr. Randy was on time, worked in the basement and gave me updates on what he thought was not working right. He was professional and talked to my husband over the phone to explain the issue and solution. He stayed from 5:30pm to 8:30pm, and didn't charge over time.

Installation lasted a day or two longer that scheduled because of a new trainee. One problem with installing thermostat in wrong location was corrected immediately. Overall, I got what I paid for.

This was the third time we have used Air Summit. All of our experiences with this company went very well. We will definitely use them again.

He found a setting on my thermastat that was incorrect. He only charged for a service call. He did not try to sell additional services. Very pleasant experience

They are very good. I can never remember the way to correctly put in the air filter, and they kindly provided me with arrows to help me out with this. I also referred them to a friend who is new to the area. Their air conditioner was out and it was over 100 degrees. They were able to help my friends out as well and they were very pleased. They do really good work and don't over charge.

It turned out OK. We were satisfied with the work and their procedures.

They did a great job. They had come out and checked the air conditioner a couple weeks prior and said it was OK. We hit the 100 degree weather and it stopped working. We called and Randy said he would be out within an hour, which he was. He said he would take care of it and he did. We were able to rest easy because he was able to take care of it so quickly. We called another AC place and they said it would probably take 2-3 days before they could get to us.

Air Conditioner did not come on. He came out immediately and found the problem. That was this year. Last year, in another home, my A/C was not cooling. He came out and fixed it quickly, professionally and cleanly; right away. Excellent service. It was very hot outside and he was pleasant, did not mind working outside in the heat. Both repairmen took their shoes off every time they had to enter my house.

We got several bids for the job and Randy's was the lowest. He installed the unit quickly and efficiently. He did exactly what he said he'd do, when he said he'd do it, and for the amount he quoted us. He was extremely easy and pleasant to deal with. We are very pleased with the product and with the service we received. We have referred him to several of our friends and they have all received the same great service and thanked us. We highly recommend him!!
