"You will not go wrong hiring Sam! Sam and his team tore out our old cement patio and put down pavers. Sam came to meet with me a few days after we talked on the phone. I interviewed another contractor and decided that I wanted to hire Sam. However, my husband hadn't met him yet, so Sam made the trip back to our house to go over the job with my husband. Sam and his team did quality work and Sam communicated with me throughout the process. He was at our house, when he said he would be and kept his word from the beginning of this process. If I ever need another patio, or retaining wall, I will call Sam again. In this day and age, it is so difficult to know who to trust. I'm grateful we found Sam for this job!"

That’s when I looked for companies that do flatwork. I like the idea of local, family-run companies and found Hoffman Concrete. I also like that their website says they offer “Excellent Customer Service.” I haven’t had a chance to see that firsthand. I called them on a weekday mid-morning and got their voicemail. I left a message and then later received a message back with a callback number. I’ve called three more times since then and got voicemail. I’m not sure what’s going on around there in the middle of the day, but I am done trying. There are plenty of other places that would be grateful for my business."

I Repair Entrance monuments as well as erect new ones.I offer custom or cookie cutter (generic) brick mail boxes,Chimneys of all sizes,custom outdoor fireplaces/ fire pits that tend to be visually stunning and tailored to the surroundings to give an outdoor area the undefinable upgrade that it always does. The only thing new to me is who I'm doing it for, I owe it to myself to work for myself. Each job that I'm called upon, I am grateful for, each job well done leaves a happy home and business owner.This is a smaller operation on any given day and that grants me the ability to remain flexible in my hours. On the bigger projects, I call in the "brothers". so if your a contractor making a deadline, I can handle deadlines. This way I'm not under the pressure of keeping guys working forty hours a week. leaving me flexible enough to tackle smaller projects solo or with little help.. but I'm at my happiest when I'm able to bring a whole crew of guys out and rock n roll. "Joe Lane knocked on my door to offer mulch but I told him that I needed new landscaping. He told me he could do that too. His bid came well under the landscaping services that I solicited for removal and complete installation of new plants, mulch, and rock. Turns out he has a good eye for landscape design and handled removing the old landscaping well. His coworker Josh is an especially hard worker. Joe offered a good service for the price. He doesn't usually show up at the time he says he will. But he usually responds quickly if you text him. Overall he was worth it for the price."

"We had a huge driveway challenge for Meramec Hardscapes and they met the challenge. We had a collapsing driveway due to water flow issues. We live at the bottom of a hill in a subdivision with no storm sewers. They came out and assessed the situation and came up with a solution. They installed a French drain at the top of the driveway and put in curbing around the driveway to direct the flow of water down to a concrete swale at the bottom of the driveway. We have had several hard rains since the completion of the project and it seems to have solved our problem and is working fine. We found the owner, Dan, and his project manager, Matt, to be very accommodating when we had any issues or questions. We would highly recommend this company."
