"Awful. This company has good reviews but was absolutely awful for me. Called because of a water leak which is supposed to be one of their specialties. They had me hire a separate inspector/specialist to evaluate the home exterior. They then tore a hole in our kitchen ceiling looking for the water leak. When they had difficulty identifying the origin of the leak they simply abandoned the project with a hole in the middle of our kitchen ceiling. Finding water leaks is difficult and I don't blame for having difficulty locating the leak but abandoning the project with a gaping hole in our kitchen is really extraordinarily bad service."

"Rick's Roofing & Siding reroofed and resided our home after damage from a hailstorm. They had previously reroofed our home about 15 years earlier and had done excellent work, so we contacted them for this project. Again, they did excellent work. Literally more than a dozen neighbors have told us how good our home looks. One even said it was stunning. Every person that we worked with from Rick's, their rep, construction crew, inspector, and office personnel were very good to work with and did their jobs well. An example, our neighborhood had many homes damaged by the hailstorm. Talking with our rep from Rick's on a sunny day outside our home, he told me that they only use the same lot of shingles when they roof. He said others will just take what they can get in situations like this where many homes are damaged and the demand for the shingles is high. He pointed out a house across the street from us and said that their roofer had mixed lots. I couldn't see what he saw, he told me over time it would show. All it took was for it to show was for it to rain, when the neighbor's roof is wet, I can see the distinct line patterns on their roof where the shingles are different. I waited for some time to pass before I wrote a review to see if any issues would show; everything looks great, and we've experienced no issues."

The crews for Capital found effective solutions and communicated the options and costs well. All were capable and trustworthy, completing the project when they said they would and in the manner that they promised. "First Dave took days to respond, then roofing was delivered to the neighbors. Roofing was delayed, and i was notified the first day. The 2nd day i heard nothing from Steve and had to call to find out. I was told the driveway would be covered with tarps and magnets would be used to pick up nails. This wasn't done and i had to pick up 100's of nails myself from driveway and all around the house and neighbors house. Front and back steps weren't covered with tarps while roofing, so one had oil stains, the other brand new composite steps had gouges, tar stains, and a broken light. Corner piece of my siding had a hole put in it. My birdbath was also broken. Roofers left garbage all over the place. A few nails and little pieces of roofing were left on the roof after they were done. The office called before the job was completed to get final papers signed, i had to tell them they aren't done yet. Long delays and poor communication, a roofing job with soffit and fascia took about a month total. Corner siding piece was finally replaced, and a couple hundred dollars was taken off the price for the broken items."

"We had an extremely bad experience with Kaufman Roofing. We had a leak in our roof, and they thought it was most likely in our custom, built-in gutter system. They said they patched it up, but then it leaked the next time it snowed. In the meantime, they gave us a $30,000 estimate to have our entire gutter system, which is only 12 years old, completely replaced. Their estimator is a real bully and a horrible person to interact with. His name is Scott Wehrmeyer. He uses scare tactics, he talks over you, he’s impolite, and in our case, he didn’t even apologize for the fact that their patch didn’t even last one rainstorm. He just used it further evidence that we need to hire them to replace relatively new gutters. He never even got up on the roof to take a look at the gutter system or used a drone to take pictures or anything. He had one guy go up on a ladder in that one spot and take one picture and then say we need the entire system replaced. We eventually got it fixed with a reputable company. We got bids from several other roofing companies. Everyone else laughed at the idea that we would have a 12-year-old custom gutter system torn out and replaced for $30,000. They may have workers that do a good job, but I found Scott to be totally untrustworthy. I have never had to hang up in the middle of a conversation with anyone in my life, but I did with him. If I owned this company, I would not want him representing me. He’s a bully, he seems to be lazy, he doesn’t listen, he didn’t apologize, he just talked right over me and tried to scare me hiring him. Literally the total opposite of what any customer would hope for."
