"We've had the pleasure of working with K2 twice now. They helped us with a kitchen remodel on our starter home years ago, designing an incredible kitchen in our tiny postage-stamp available space. When we moved again years later into a dated kitchen direly in need of upgrades, of course we called K2! Both times we worked with Teresa on a design and floorplan that made the best sense for how we utilized the space, and she brought practical ideas that worked with our budget and our wish-list. When the project came around, the contractors were all helpful and friendly. The project managers were always a quick call away if anything ever came up. Some project highlights include: - A giant picture window to bring as much light into a previously-dark kitchen as possible, - A half-wall to create a more open space, - Cabinet improvements to create more storage, - Lighting improvements (gross, outdated hospital-like fluorescents to sharp new LED fixtures), - Electric range to gas-range updates, with a hanging hood, - Flooring (hardwood refinishing and tile.) Kitchen models can be such a headache especially with a house full of kids and dogs, but working with K2 helped things go as smoothly as possible."

"This is the second time we have used Dan. He built us a gym, with a sauna install. We hired him back. He is without a doubt the most reasonable and quality I have ever worked with. He does not try to talk you into things, he actually talks you out to make sure he keeps you on budget. We got everything we wanted, and he built us a bar as well. He allowed us to do a few things to save on cost. He is kind, funny, direct, but open to what you want to do. He wants you to be happy with the end product. His subs are all vetted by him and they were all top notch. My only issue, was the delays with subs, but it is 2022 and we all need patience."

"Let’s just say communication was stellar from the get-go! We met with Tom to go over what work we wanted to do and there’s just something about making a personal connection with someone that makes you feel confident that the work they’re going to do for you is going to be great, and it was! Can’t say enough about Tom and his brother Jesse‘s professionalism, knowledge and skill!! Along with countertops, we were also installing some unfinished cabinets and we didn’t even know it was an option, but Tom offered without us asking to prime and paint them for us as well, AND he even went and matched the paint so the new cabinets matched the old ones we were keeping, which was great because we were under a time crunch to get this work done before family was coming to stay with us. Tom and Jesse worked with us to make sure everything was completed and that we were 100% satisfied in the short amount of time they had to get it done for us. Everything looks beautiful and we would definitely work with Tom and Jesse again in the future! Actually, hoping to have them come back and do some laminate flooring for us as well! Highly recommend these guys, they are great guys, great communication, 100% trustworthy and I guarantee they will do a great job for you!"

There were no surprises or hidden /unexpected costs. The crew was professional and friendly. They listened and consulted with my wife. Smart guys."

"Everything went very well. This family business is punctual and responsible. After calling them, Mike talked options and gave me a quick estimate. Work was completed in a very timely manner. It was more expensive than I first thought, but it was high quality work and I know that you get what you pay for."

"My experience with Handyman Connection was terrible. I will never utilize them again and caution others that are considering them. I had a exterior painting project that was quoted in May 2024 and the project was not completed until late September due to the poor work and damages that were caused to my gutter system that I found after they were “finished”. No workers came and informed me of the damages. So when the worker’s came to me to come and take a look at their work I found half my house was painted in a different color than the other half! Eight sections of my gutter system were damaged and needed to be replaced and my brown garage door was now a shade of purple! To top things 25% of the surfaces that were to be painted and included in the original quote was never painted! I was also not informed of this by the workers and found this out when I questioned them. I spoke to Management about my concerns and there was no rush to remedy the situation and no consideration to reducing the quoted price at all. They also left paint on a number of my windows and door frames and when you have bronze frames and beige paint splattered on them it is very obvious to the eye but no effort to remove those spill/drips. I could go on with the issues that I had but I will end by using a very popular saying “Caveat Emptor” or Let the Buyer Beware! They have some good reviews but I certainly do not have anything good to say about the service and the outcome I had with them. I will say the workers themselves were very nice but that’s as much as I can say nice about my experience."
