Everything went very well. This family business is punctual and responsible. After calling them, Mike talked options and gave me a quick estimate. Work was completed in a very timely manner. It was more expensive than I first thought, but it was high quality work and I know that you get what you pay for.

Very well, deck is exactly like I requested. I needed a wheel chair ramp instead of stairs and the ramp turned out perfect.

Talked to Mike today and he was quick to respond and professional during the call. I explained that this was an insurance claim and that I would like a quote for the repairs. He told me he required $1000 down payment and then he would come out and give me a quote. He asked me to pay $1000 and commit to a completely unknown amount of work within the first 3 minutes of starting our first conversation. No attempt to build a relationship or establish trust. He said the reason for this is because he might spend time negotiating with the insurance company to cover all repairs and then I might run off with the money. This is the second time that I have encountered this practice, so maybe this is just the way some companies operate. I find the practice disturbing and unprofessional so I won't work with companies that operate this way. I don't recommend contacting this company for insurance work unless you have worked with him in the past and know in advance you want him to do the work.

Strung me along for many months while I waited for the bid to arrive. when I got the bid, it was so convoluted with double and triple charges for all kinds of fees. I was sure I wanted to go with this company, but they came out more than twice the amount of other bids.

Mike did a great job on our roof work. He identified our roof problems and arranged for some custom copper flashing that looks great. He also did an urgent garage-fix up for us with a very quick turn-around time. A third job included a dryer vent repair. All jobs were done professionally. Great service, and a really nice guy. We would definitely hire him again.

The quality of the doors is excellent. Lemke measured the frame for each door and all doors fit perfectly and were hung on existing framing. The workers were careful not to dirty the house with debris and they wiped down the doors when finished.

The estimate was not usable and I did not go further.

Did not want to give Price for project. Wanted to know what our budget is first. Asked if we have done quotes with others. Told us to go with other contractors.

We decided to go with someone else.

I called him yesterday and he came today. While on the phone with David, I explained what might be a major problem with floor dropping. He explained what he would do and what the evaluation might cost. He came on time, checked the level of the floor with a laser, checked for other signs of structural problems and explained what he was doing and what he was look for. His evaluation resulted in no major structural problems and one minor problem at the courner of two wall. This was something I could fix myself. David was very thorough and professional.

We couldn't be happier with how it went. Nearly all the exterior of our house has been updated. Steve and his folks were great and met our high standards of quality in their work. Our house is roughly 90 years old, and it presented us with a few surprises as the project developed. Steve was a good listener and problem-solver and gave us options on how we could proceed with various elements of the project. Everyone who worked on our house was nice, professional,punctual, knew their stuff and cleaned up after themselves at the end of the day. Steve was a pleasure to work with, as was Jean in the office and the two Mike's who did much of the work. We would definitely hire them for future jobs.

He was supposed to build a senior shower. Also to to have the design for a walk in shower. He did nothing. We are suing Steve and his company. This is why I didn't renew my subscription in Angies list. He walked away with the money. Here is his record. build a curb less show, and door less shower. The experience was fantastic. I found Lemke & Sons on Angie's List and was impressed with the number of positive reviews. I contacted a few different contractors regarding the work and found Steve Lemke to be very professional, punctual, and honest with what they could and couldn't deliver. I was also impressed that the Steve and his installer arrived on time to walk through the basement, give ideas and options that I hadn't considered. Lemke & Sons do charge for the visit to bid a job, $150. Within a day or two I received a call regarding the bid. The other contractors were playing phone tag and not giving me the impression that they could handle the job or that they could get the same end results that were given to me by Steve and his installer. I agreed to the terms and made the trip to St. Paul to sign, leave a deposit, and get my name on their calendar. We were able to schedule a time, few weeks out, to have the work done. Day 1 - Materials and installer arrived on time. The heating company, ? name, out of Inver Grove Heights was very friendly and valued my opinion and discussed any concerns and/or options with me and the installer. Day 2 - Long day for the installer but he continued to give 110% and made sure that the craftsmanship and quality didn't suffer. Reasons for the long day, basement walls are never straight and working around myself and my dad as we were installing the lights. The installer was very friendly, professional, and treated my house like his own and that shows in the workmanship. Overall, very happy and pleased with the work. Definitely worth it!!

They told me it would be about 2.5 weeks on completing the repair and advised me I needed to put down a deposit. Since then I have contacted them numerous of time about getting my work scheduled to be completed. I have paid them $500.00 however they have continuously given me excuse after excuse on completing this job. I am more than furious with them. They dont communicate and they still have my money and no work has been completed over a month later.

I contacted Lemke & Sons for getting my deck and walls below repaired due to water damage. I live in a townhouse complex and my association put the responsibility back on the home owners even though the issues came from construction and siding failures. I contacted several different companies and they came out to give me quotes and only Lemke & Sons were even willing to take on this job after coming out and looking it over. A good deal could not be seen until the siding was removed to even determine the extent but I ask for them to give me a worse case scenario quote which Mike did. The date was set for doing the work and the 3 men crew (Mike, Matt and Mike) came originally thinking it would only be 1 week of work and it ended up being a week and a half. As they worked more issues that needed to be addressed were found and also some that needed to have contact with my Association. At my location an company was out doing some work on the siding of the building and the work they saw was actually causing harm not repair for how it was being put on and it was not addressing the issues under the siding it and also needed information on our roofing company that needed to address an issue that they needed to address do to warranty status. I was able to get some of the information from my association and Mike Lemke took on trying to reach the roofing company holding the warranty from them to address a repair so I would not have to pay for it since it was under warranty. Mike also spoke with my representative of my association because I wanted her to see what was being done and let her know about the issues with the other contractor doing the siding work and that they are just wasting the money spent because they are really causing more damage with the way they are installing siding. The work was done so professionally by each member of the crew that worked on my home. They explained how things should have been done and how they were going to correct them for me. I will definitely contact them for future projects I have at my home and also encourage my Association to use they for work on the complex that is needed and tell others that may need work done.

It went very well. Steve Lemke is a class act and a real professional. He communicated very well and kept the work moving along. The craftsmanship was superb. The terrazzo tile work was exceptional. All other work was done with care and quality. All good. I thought that the charge overall was higher than if I would have bid the job to multiple contractors. Seeing how well Steve worked with our insurance company and the quality of the finished job, I am glad we just went with Steve.

We worked with Steve from start to finish on a total remodel of our 1950's bathroom. Lemke and Sons was a pleasure to work with and I would definitely use them again. From the design, to implementation, to clean up and final product i would rate them A+, Excellent. Steve and all of his subs were very professional, and kept the rest of our house clean of remodeling so we could go on living while the bathroom was being done. Any extra job we requested they completed. I also have to thank one of their subs for chasing after our old dog who escaped. He caught her and brought her home. Electrical and plumbing were redone, new windows, walls and ceiling. New fixtures, tile in shower area, floor and around the full bath. Custom made cabinet for the sink. the cost would not have been as high but my husband picked out very pricey tile. Which looks fantastic. While there they also completed several other projects for us. Closing up an outside entry mail box(very drafty) and installing a new outdoor mailbox. Fixing water damage on all of our first floor ceilings and painting all of our ceilings. We would use them again. We just have to decide on our next project. Thanks from Steve and Nancy
