About 36 hours later my drain is clogged again and the only thing I let down it was dish water and there's a strainer in the sink . When I called they said no warranty on the service and it would be $79 to evaluate it and I could go from there. Sorry you're only robbing me once and I would caution anyone not to deal with them"

Multiply that by the number of people in your home, then multiply by 10 (for the typical grains per gallon). You’ll get a number in grains that should help roughly size your water softener.
