My experience with Blue Jay was very good. It started with a next day appointment with Jay who walked me through kitchen remodel basics, guided me on code requirements and had good suggestions and comments. He was also helpful in bedroom wiring options and pricing. The electrician and helper who performed the work were always punctual, in contact and also helpful in suggestions and better options for wiring. They were also neat workers...which you don't always find in electricians. Moreover, as with any renovation work, there are changes and discrepancies. Jay was excellent at negotiating those changes and difficulties and keeping within my budget...a true professional. I had a great experience with Blue Jay.

Jay showed up exactly on time and took the time to look at all of the things in the house that we had questions about. The company provided a detailed estimate within a few days and set up an appointment to complete the work a few days later. Jay showed up with one of his electricians to get the job started and a more experienced electrician came over a few hours later to supervise and complete the work. They were friendly and efficient. The only very small negative was that they left a bit of mess and a few spare parts when they left. They did a nice job and charged less than we expected based upon our home inspection. Overall, great job.

Very positive experience. Jay came out personally for the estimate the day after I called his office. He seems very experienced and flexible. The work was completed 2 days later. The electricians were polite and did a good job. I picked Blue Jay Electric after their estimate came in about $100 lower than the other electrician that I have been using.

Jay the owner, came out for estimate and discussed options and followed up with an email estimate. No high pressure/overselling. Tracey followed up with admin and to confirm appointment day prior. Bill and Tim arrived at time indicated and were a pleasure to have perform their work. Bill further allayed my fears of my 1971 aluminum wiring and answered any questions I had. From start to finish, a delightful experience and I will definitely use them again.

I thought it was something extensive, but it wasn't as bad as I thought. It has worked ever since.

The electricians found the source of the problem, changed the breaker, and made recommendations to prevent this from happening again.

They showed up at 7:30 am, as promised, worked with me to finish the projects exactly how I wanted (placement of receptacles, etc), they moved furniture carefully and thoroughly cleaned up. It was a pleasure to finally find a company that pays attention to the details.

They did a great job. There were no problems at all. They arrived on time and cleaned up after the job. Eric also provided many helpful suggestions.

Terrific service. My only complaint is that it took approximately 7 days to get an appointment. Bill arrived a little earlier than the scheduled appointment but that's not a criticism! Bill explained what he was looking for and what he was doing throughout the repair process. He worked quickly and efficiently. He was kind and pleasant. He was clearly experienced and professional. I was extremely happy with the overall experience. Would definitely utilize Blue Jay again. Thanks for the terrific service!

Excellent. The servicemen were professional and a pleasure to work with. They corrected a tripping breaker, explained how to use outlets properly and simple repairs that were needed to the smoke detector (gave advice on the smoke detector instead of making the repairs per my request). All work was done in under an hour. Also, the work involved and the related cost were substantially less than I had expected, based on an estimate given by another company. I only requested a quote on areas that needed improvement when I made the appointment, the representative didn't inform me of the service call request. The service man came a half hour early for a 7:30 am appointment without calling first to check. It wasn't OK; I was helping my family prepare for work and school. The service men were very professional, waited until the agreed upon time, and apologized for coming early. I appreciated the fact that they waited instead of taking another service call and then coming back.

Excellent, excellent, excellent! I will never use any other electrician. They were prompt, discussed my long list of projects, gave me a price, with break down, enabling me to eliminate certain projects which were too expensive for my budget at this time. Took time to explain options for future projects, which really helps my planning. Fixed an irritating problem I've lived with for six years due to prior electrician's errors. I would recommend them to anyone needing electrical work done. Very reasonably priced, there was no clean up after they were gone and I love how my new switches look - Thanks guys!

The technicians showed up bright and early (7 am) and worked through the day figuring out how to wire and rewire in a hundred year old house. They came back a second day to finish up the job. They did a great job!

Jay (the owner) arrived promptly and fixed both items quickly. We have had service done by this company several times in the past and have always been satisfied with the results.

They showed up on time, did an excellent job, cleaned up. I was very satisfied with the work. This is the third job that I had them do and they have always done excellent work.

They were friendly, dependable and on time. My husband had refinished our hardwood floors himself and they walked in and noticed right away. Later that day they dropped a drill or something on the floor causing damage. They immediately found my husband and apologized and asked what they could to do rectify the situation. Because of that, we were quickly able to come to a solution. They were very professional and handled themselves very well!
