ACCUTEMP HEATING & AIR CONDITIONING

John came out, went into the attic, shook the condensation pump, poured water in it, and said all was fine, although the drip pan was completely full of water. He did not drain the drip pan and suggested that my husband do it when he got home. He said he would charge us $300.00 to "soak up the water with a towel." He then checked the freon in the a/c and claimed that we needed an acid wash of the outdoor unit in order to relieve the head pressure. He did the acid wash, which I mistakenly agreed to, and reduced the head pressure by all of 25 lbs. He said he would reduce it by 100lbs. Five minutes after he left, the leak was back. I called him back and he said to turn off the a/c unit until my husband could empty the drip pan. My husband came home, siphoned the water out of the pan in all of ten minutes, replaced the condensation pump. The next morning, the drip pan was half full. The original pump worked fine, there's a leak in the unit, which my husband could see clearly once he siphoned out the water again. This was a nightmare.
