Deyvin’s Construction is family owned and operated, we offer you an amazing 14 years of excellent experience. Your needs are treated as our own, we strongly believe that alone separates us from the rest. We value you as our customer and we sincerely hope to serve you now and in the future.

"As planned including some good ideas from David. Water is now diverted away from our front steps which was a persistent concern in cold weather months. Also added extensions to a couple second story downspouts into respective first story gutters for more efficient draining."

"I called Mario to have him look at our slowly failing gutter system - leaks, falling downspouts, etc. He was prompt and courteous, and in the end we decided it was time to replace. He and his crew worked around the weather to get the job done on a Sunday... even painted the gutters going up the sides of the house to blend in, and left things as pristine as could be. He also updated me on the overall status of our roof..."

Did you know that it's unwise to spend too much but it's worse to spend too little? How do you choose the right contractor? First, they should listen to what you want to have done, then they should take a look at what needs to be done. Our certified expert will provide a full inspection of the problem areas. We will take digital photos of these areas, and provide a complete color coded plan so that you can see what we saw. IN EXCHANGE FOR OUR TIME AND EFFORTS, ALL THAT WE ASK IN RETURN IS THAT ANYONE WHO WOULD HAVE INPUT BE PRESENT TO DISCUSS YOUR OPTIONS. We believe that this approach provides everyone with the best way to make a good informed decision. If you agree, please call us now. You'll be glad you did! Since 1969, GF Sprague has worked with discerning homeowners who buy the right job at the right price.

"I had a small leak. Sprague quickly diagnosed the need for a very expensive roof repair. I also had a skylight that was dripping and decided to replace a group of four skylights. The work was spread out over a longer time than anticipated, which Sprague said was due to unusually wet weather. As far as I can tell as an amateur looking up at the roof from a distance, the quality is good but only some winters with no leaks will confirm that. They put some rather conspicuous shiny white concrete in one small part of a strip of gray concrete but said it would eventually weather to the same color. The substantial problem came over the skylights. My existing skylights came with retractable shades for those summer days when sun shining through the skylights could be blistering hot. During the initial conversations, we focused on whether we would be able to use the old shades or would have to replace them. When the job was done, there were no shades and they were emphatic that the shades were not included despite our detailed conversations about them. The wood just inside the skylights had been replaced and needed to be overlain with higher quality wood and painted. I had assumed, based on our conversation, particularly about the shades, that doing these things was part of the job. But I didn't explicitly write the shades into the contract. Regarding the wood, they pointed to a sentence deep within the many pages of the document that left me responsible for any inside work. I had seen that but never imagined that the wood they used would have to be covered up with higher quality wood before it could be painted. I was quite surprised, particularly when I found out that this residual work, requiring a carpenter, a painter and a shades specialist, would cost several thousand dollars. I felt stupid to have relied so heavily on the conversation and to have signed off on something that only a professional would understand. In the future I would recommend having a specialist lawyer review any contract. It would have been much more professional of them to clarify at the beginning how much would remain to be done after they finished what they understood to be the job. Finally, a small thing: They didn't clean up carefully. Left in the yard were things like a roll of what looked like insulation, thirteen pounds of copper nails (I weighed them), and other stuff. I didn't feel comfortable throwing all those copper nails in the trash, so they sit in my garage pending possible donation to some workman standing outside Home Depot on my next trip there. Because of a previous experience with Sprague, I made a point of asking them to be sure to take away the advertising signs they had placed in my yard; they promised they would, but they didn't."

Capital Construction was founded in 2005. We are an award-winning exterior contracting specialist. We specialize in roofing, siding, windows, and doors, and pride ourselves on fantastic customer service and top-notch craftsmanship. We hold numerous certifications in the industry, and we are proud to work with the best products from leading manufacturers. No matter what home improvement needs you have, Capital is here to provide you with quality solutions. Our mission is simple: to improve the lives of our customers by providing the highest quality building materials installed by highly skilled, professionally trained craftspersons with the highest level of customer service.

"We had Capital Construction replace the siding, windows, and doors at our house. Their work is low quality. Windows were not completely fastened, casing was a hack job, and our door sweep after 1.5 years of use is falling apart. I would not recommend hiring Capital Construction for any project."

Vinyl siding repair services FAQs

The average cost to hire a handyman ranges from about $40 to $140 per hour. Average project cost ranges between $180 and $700, but the cost per hour and per project depends heavily on the type, size, and complexity of the project. The pro’s experience level and your location also factor into how much a handyman charges per hour or per project. You can also expect to pay higher rates or additional fees for emergency services, or around periods of high customer demand, like holidays.

Gutter installation costs from $4 to $30 per linear foot. Cost factors include linear footage, type of gutter, and material (aluminum, copper, etc.). The number and length of downspouts also impact the cost. Roof repairs are another potential cost. Optional add-ons include gutter guards or gutter screens to keep debris out of the gutters.

Yes, most states require roofers to be licensed, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed roofer could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations.

As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:

  • The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check

  • Required to have applicable state and local licenses

  • Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review

  • Paying to advertise their services

  • Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi

Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.

The cost to replace siding for your home is $11,450 on average. But siding replacement can cost up to $40,000 or more, with the largest expense being your chosen material. For example, for a 2,000 square feet house, the average cost of siding materials such as vinyl is between $9,000 and $14,000. Wood siding is a little more expensive, ranging from $16,000 to $26,000. However, for the same size house using brick or stone, that cost jumps to $18,000 to $100,000. When choosing to replace your home’s siding, it’s essential to consider your climate and longevity.

Gutter cleaning costs about $170 on average, ranging from about $75 to $400. Cost factors include the type, length, and height of your gutters. A multiple-story home with gutters high off the ground and accessible only by ladder or working on a steep roof will cost more than a single-story house with a relatively flat roof.
