Everything was fine about their bid. I got a number of bids. They did a good job. They came in and they were relatively timely. I didn't feel like there was anything wrong with the biding process at all. I didn't feel any of the bids were bad.

Brandon was terrific. He and his team were knowledgable and punctual in all of their dealings with us. Their work was top quality and their pricing was on par with the other quotes we received. After the deck was removed Brandon made arrangements to meet with us to show us the rotted clapboard boards that the deck had been attached to. We went forward with this additional work and the finished product is well beyond our expectations. We highly recommend them.

We shopped around for pricing on roof work. The price we were quoted from Western Construction was extremely higher than other companies' quote (~$7,500.00 higher). We will definitely not be using their services now or in the future.

My overall experience was great. After getting several estimates from companies in the area, he was the only one who could repair my gazebo without completely destroying it. He and his team of three workers did good job. They were very nice and professional. I wish I would have hired him for other projects around my house, such as gutters.

I was extremely pleased with everyone from Western Construction. Brendan was professional and friendly. He knows what he is doing. He showed up when he said he would, and would check with me if they found anything additional. No new things were added unless I agreed I wanted it done. His guys were great. They were hard working, showing up early and staying late. And they did great work. I had absolutley no complaints. It was nice to be able to drive up to my house while this was taking place, and be happy with the quality of workmanship. Also, anytime I asked for something, they did it right away. If I had a question, they would explain why or what needed to be done. Brendan told me to call him when the painters (another company) were done, and he would have someone come back and tidy up our house wires. They showed up and took care of that for me right away when I called. These guys did a great job. They were not cheap, but we knew the job was a big one. I would definitley hire them again, and will recommend them to others.

We gave them keys to our house, and they got it done quickly and efficiently. A very good experience!

He was responsive. The bid seemed a little high. We decided to go with someone else. I'm sure they are competent, but there were some misunderstandings in communication.

The carpenter showed up early and he methodically checked the wooden posts and all along the railing to find any rotten pieces. The railing on our historic home had some unusual shapes and angles, and so I was amazed to see when I came home that the replacement pieces of wood were a perfect match. It was a remarkable and incredibly professionally-done job.

They do excellent work, Brendon is amazingly nice, responsive, trustworthy and thorough. He comes back until everything is done the way you want it. I will probably use them for pretty much everything from now on.

Everything went great with this company. They may be a little expensive but you will get the quality of work you are looking for. They are very efficient and professional. I would recommend this company to anyone and would use again.

Within just a few days Brendan had the men on site. They did a meticulous job and cleaned up every day - which reinforced that the culture at Western Construction is to be professional, neat and courtous while you do the job - and his people have a respect for the homeowners and the neighborhood. The men knew what they were doing, they had to reshingle around utility / cable boxes and security lights - took their time to do it right. We have more projects for Brendan to work on and would certainly recommend Western contruction.

They were very responsive. It was kind of complicated work. We decided not to proceed with it after getting a couple of bids and hearing from people about the work that was involved. Their estimate was about $6000. They were very professional and seemed quite trustworthy. I would certainly contact them in the future.

I called Western Construction for a quote, and they came out within days to give me a price, which I received the very next day, as promised. Once I gave them the go-ahead, they scheduled me within a week. They arrived before 8:00 (as I had asked), and completed the job in one day. It looked gorgeous! The house looked great, and they left no mess behind. I will definitely use them again for my vast number of other projects on my wish-list!

Brandon from Western Construction Inc Company did a very nice job for us. He stands behind his work. We were very happy with his services. However, we were not happy with one of the subcontractors that he got to do the wall paper in one of our bathrooms. We did have some problem with that but Brandon did send somebody over and took care of it. The problem was fixed immediately. He was very responsive. His wife runs the office and she too got back to me on things immediately. He certainly wasn’t inexpensive but he did good work. He was very punctual. He was very professional. We would use Brandon from Western Construction Inc Company again in the future.

I got an estimate for the gutter and shingle work, from Western Construction, last year but it seemed too high to me and I decided to go with someone else. The other company took a closer look once they started and realized it was a bigger job and gave me a new quote. At that point it was higher then the quote from Western Construction and I decided not to go with second company. Thankfully, Western Construction still honored their quote because I am so glad I went with them, they did a great job and I ended up using them for other work that needed to get done too (the porch replacement). Brendan is a pleasure to work with. He is on site every day or almost every day keeping an eye on how things are going. The guys who work for him are also very pleasant and work so hard, it's almost unbelievable. They were working nearly non-stop on those awful hot days we had this summer. They start early and leave late and take only a lunch break. Once they started the two jobs (on time as promised) they didn't stop until they were done.

We wanted to convert a trapped room into a master bathroom, and fix a back room into a four season room. We got several quotes and Western gave us a very competitive one. We had used Western Construction before and we decided to go with them again. Brendan the owner was very responsive and got back to us right away. Always punctual. His crew is also very good and pays attention to detail. For example we had some questions about the exact location of our new tub, and both Brendan and the crew worked with us until it was exactly right. The work was for the work only and we provided the materials. Brendan advised us on where to go. We picked out the samples and he actually purchased them for us. This gave us great flexibility in that we were able to purchase floor models and in-stock items, whic h helped keep the cost down. They are general contractors. They charged me $100 an hour. They were very, very good and very thorough, but also very expensive. I did some research around the area, and I feel I could have done the job a little bit cheaper. There was a backlog because of a snow emergency, and I had to wait for about three days. I would shop around more if I needed such a service again.

He made me question the ratings that he did. He was difficult. He was a nice guy. Other people came in and what they were saying didn't make sense on how to fix the problem.He came in and isolated where the leak is and seemed like he knew what he was doing. So we set up another date to come back which took him about a week to do it. Then he didn't show up for an hour to the time we decided on. So I call him to ask him where he is. He then sends over a guy he works with an hour or 2 late. He originally quoted me a price of 45 dollars an hour. This guy shows up and spends an hour on the roof but didn't seem to really do anything. After about an hour he gets up with a hose and the leak was right where the original guy said. Which shows that the original guy, Brian, was an excellent analyst diagnostician. So I try to set up an appointment with Brian but he doesn't call me back because I'm convinced he has excellent expertise. Then I don't hear back from him. Then he tells me he is going away and can't get the job done for a while. So then I'm about a month into this waiting on him to do the job. So he comes out to take a look at the roof again and this time he sends me an estimate via email. The estimate was two times higher than the other guys I received estimates from. So then I didn't respond to his estimate. Then they called me asking me what I think about the estimate but I told them I didn't understand why it's so high. He tells me that the leak has been so long that the structure of my house is rotting so he has to replace the beams in the wall. Which didn't make any sense to me and nobody else has told me this. I ask him if he works in here for 30 minutes it would cost 1300 dollars would I be a happy customers. Brian thinks that because I would wait so long for him that I would pay this overpriced amount for the work. I wasn't happy with his responsiveness and his price was outrageous. Other than his diagnostic abilities, I wasn't happy with anything that he did. He missed appointments and I had to call him. Once you call him he sends a guy within an hour so his responsiveness isn't too bad. He's a wonderful diagnostician but he doesn't show up and doesn't tell you when he's going to be away. We discussed that he would do it for 45 an hour and he sent me a bill charging me for 90 dollars an hour. When the guy was actually here, most of the time he was ineffective. I had to pay for a guy to come to my house and use a hose to find a leak in my roof.

They did a nice job on the deck. Brendan said it would take about a week. It took about a week. They started and finished when they said they would. They worked very hard. The deck looks great.

Brendan Morrissey came to provide an estimate. The beam replacement was quite complicated because of space constraints and the placement of the house circuit breaker next to the damaged beam. Brendan gave me an estimate that was $1,500.00 below the estimate of another contractor. I had used his service before and decided to do so again. His workers came and performed the replacement in about two days. They were very competent and professional.

Western Construction did a very good job getting the initial visit. We played phone tag a lot while scheduling which was unfortunate. There was a little delay because of weather issues. Overall, I was very satisfied. They did good work and did the work as specified.

Great. Absolutely no complaints, except that during the first visit one of his workers nailed the company's sign to our favorite tree! I would definitely use Western Construction again! I found them to be pleasant, respectful, skilled and hard-working. They cleaned up well after themselves and Brendan often popped by to see how things were going.

I?m not too impressed with them. We gave them a $500 deposit about six weeks ago to order a window and I have to keep after them to find out about the status. The guy was nice but they aren?t responsive and no one is communicating with me. I think they got a really high rating on Angie?s List but I don?t know if that is accurate.

They were great. I found them to be professional and hardworking. They worked hard even though it was very hot. They were great about cleaning up and disposing of the old gutters.
