"They advised me that my roofing joists were bowed and my roof was a safety hazard- untrue as my brother is a master carpenter, has been on my roof recently and it is still safe. They were hired to remove my old chimney and rebuild it entirely. They tried to sell me their roofing replacement service. The price for the roof was very inflated - I declined. They tried to persuade me by saying they would have to report me to the city because my roof is unsafe. I responded saying my brother will do it for more than 1/3 less than their price. My brother also advised me that they neglected to obtain a permit to reconstruct my chimney as required by law. They completed the job in the dark on my roof until 7 pm at night. I was concerned about their safety and possible damage to my roof that they could do after I declined their roof replacement service. They left a mess of trash, tarps, wood and bricks all over. A few days later some shingles fell off roof peak ."
