Rhino Shield permanent exterior ceramic paint coating is a long-lasting paint alternative that gives your home and office exterior the appearance of fresh paint but offers the longevity of vinyl siding product. Rhino Shield offers you the "Ultimate Paint Job" and is the leader in home and business exterior ceramic coating technology. Rhino Shield is backed with a 25 year transferable warranty that you will never have to paint again. Don't Paint, Don't Vinyl...Go Rhino!

"We recently hired Rhino Shield for an exterior paint job on our home in Queen Creek, AZ, and our experience was far from satisfactory. Initial Consultation: The sales representative was knowledgeable about the product and the warranty, which convinced us to proceed. However, during the consultation, he mentioned that he "had to charge at least $11,000 or the owner/manager would be upset," even though he described our job as "simple." This felt like an unnecessary pressure tactic. First Crew Experience: The first crew that came to prep the house was unprofessional. One worker asked me to sign paperwork stating the paint job was complete, even though it wasn’t, just so he could get paid. Being home alone, this made me extremely uncomfortable. Additionally, the crew frequently arrived late, and when I expressed dissatisfaction with the paint job, one worker suggested I look at it from a different angle to make it look better. The paint work was terrible, and a few weeks later, I was in tears because it looked so bad. Follow-Up and Resolution: My husband contacted the project manager, Chandler, who inspected the job and agreed that the work was subpar. He hired a separate crew to re-spray the house. Although this crew did a better job, they initially missed painting the railings, requiring yet another visit to complete the work. Customer Service and Final Outcome: Despite our request for a partial refund due to the inconvenience and poor quality of the initial work, Rhino Shield denied our request. This was particularly disappointing since the initial crew likely also mishandled the APX primer, which was a significant part of why we chose Rhino Shield in the first place. Conclusion: Overall, we were extremely disappointed with our $11,000 paint job. The experience was a major headache, and we could have saved thousands by hiring another company. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Rhino Shield and want to share our story to ensure potential customers are aware of the issues we faced."

Garage door services FAQs

Garage door repairs cost $260 on average but can range anywhere from $80 to $675. Factors such as the type of repair needed, the style of your garage door, and the material your door is made of all play a part in the final price tag.

For example, wood garage doors look beautiful but are prone to dents, splitting, and cracks that are difficult to fix. You can expect to spend an average of $200 to $300 to repair your wooden garage door. Fiberglass garage doors are more durable and less expensive to fix, averaging around $100 to $200.

The cost of replacing garage door panels is around $1,200 for the average homeowner. However, depending on a few factors, you could pay as little as $250 or as much as $3,000 or more. Considerations like panel style and the type of garage door you have all factor into what you pay.

While sectional garage doors are common among homeowners, they are often the most expensive to replace, averaging around $700 to $2,400. Tilt-up garage doors, which are the simplest door available, range from $400 to $1,400.

Annual to biannual routine garage door maintenance is vital to extending its life as much as possible. Most importantly, noticing any unusual sounds or movements and taking care of them as soon as possible is one of the best ways to maintain your garage door. Keeping the tracks clear of dirt and debris and lubricating the rollers and other moving parts twice a year will also help to get the most out of your door.

Even though garage doors can last 15 to 30 years, it’s important to recognize the signs of wear and tear or other damage that might cause the need for a repair or replacement. A big sign that your garage door needs repair or replacement is the door not opening and closing correctly, including moving slower than usual. Also, if you notice that your garage door is becoming warped or overly weathered, it’s time to call a professional to discuss your options and tips for buying a new garage door.

Garage doors generally last between 15 to 30 years, depending on many factors. Your location plays an essential role in your garage door’s lifespan—doors exposed to harsh elements like heavy rain or intense heat might not last as long as those installed in a milder climate. How often you use your garage door also factors into its overall lifespan. Generally, standard garage door springs can withstand 20,000 cycles, whereas tension springs typically last between 5,000 and 10,000.
