"This was amazing! I had no idea this service existed. After searching and contacting various repair places for my washer, this was the most cost effective option. I figured if it didn't work, my machine is old and I would be out $40, not the $100+ to have a tech come out and just diagnose the problem. I am pretty handy and my washer is old anyway, so if it is broken, I have to get a new one anyway. My tech, Steve, was great! He predicted what was wrong after listening to the machine, calmly walked me through dismantling the machine and when we got down to the motor, he was right! He sent me a link to the part I would need, and let me know to contact them again if I needed help installing it. My machine works even better than before it broke, its beautifully quiet and efficient. I will definitely be saving this company for any future repairs on appliances I may need. The service was $40 + the part cost, which was about $8."

"poor customer service. not knowledgeable about the product. not responsive and over priced. I called RAS to replace the heating element in my Samsung dryer. When the techs came to my home it took them a good 15 minutes to confirm what I had already told them. They then went back out to their car for about 10 minutes and quoted me $629.48 for the diagnoses, parts and labor. I obviously declined service. She then told me that the part was hard to find because of the brand and recommended that I buy a new dryer from a different manufacturer. She still charged me $114.00 for the diagnoses. After RAS left, I contacted KLB Appliances who already had the part, came out the following morning, completed the repair in under 45 minutes, and charged me less than half of what RAS attempted to charge me. I reached out to RAS to give them a chance to right their wrong (I wanted my $114 back), but received no response. I consider RAS a scam and would not recommend them to anyone!!"

"American Home Shield (AHS) warranty is replacing my broken microwave with a new one. I received the new microwave on 11/11/2020 and notified AHS it was in my possession. Part of the warranty contract includes the installation of the new microwave. AHS typically assigns contractors themselves. However, this time AHS contracted with C & R Services with a dispatch number on 11/13/2020 for C & R to assign a local contractor to do the install. After two weeks of waiting and not being contacted by C & R or a contractor, I called C & R to follow up on the status. They said it would be 1 to 2 weeks from the date they received the dispatch from AHS. I informed them it had been 2 weeks in which they replied that it would be another 2 weeks. As of today, 12/11/2020, 4 weeks from the date C & R received the dispatch, I have not been contacted by C & R or a contractor. C & R's lack of communication and customer service is absurd. AHS informed me that they do not have any authority over C & R."

"Through the Lowe's warranty, Jerry's was scheduled to repair our fridge. They stood us up the 1st scheduled day. They cancelled the 2nd scheduled day. They refused to call to confirm the time for the 3rd scheduled day, claiming that their world was very crazy and they could not call or set a reminder to contact us personally. They rely on automated emails and calls for this and were not willing to personally help. They said we could call them back to confirm. This lack of care in regards to our time is unprofessional. Their apologies were always scripted, though their voices were kind; they had no intention of prioritizing the time or making up for wasting all of ours. They continually put that back onto the customer. We are unimpressed and are using a different company through Lowe's now."
