"?Evolution Drafting has been very difficult to work with. I have been passed from employee to employee, with unreturned calls and missed appointments. I am still waiting on a meeting to review the changes we want, yet I keep getting emails with their own concept of our project instead of a proper Teams or Google meeting. I was even sent an email to schedule a ?revision if needed,? which makes it feel like I am being blamed for not accepting a design we have never discussed in detail. My time is as valuable as theirs, and the lack of clear communication and follow?through has been extremely disappointing.? I understand that things happen in life, but I also know they have a phone, and a simple call, text, or email would prevent me from wasting my time waiting on them. I have already paid, and it appears I will not receive the final product until after Christmas and New Year?s. I am disappointed.? "

"Doolittle is one of the contractors supplied by Menards and I called several on their list to have a large ceiling fan installed - a great room, about 15 feet up. Another vendor quoted $250 for a 10' ceiling (which I would have done myself) and $350 for the extra 5 feet. Doolittle quoted $89 service call plus $40 for each 15 minutes - about an hour estimated, so about $250 for the total job. The job was completed in a flash and the total bill was $169. Workers (forgot their names!) were very professional and communicated with me the whole way. They took care to protect my wood flooring and assembled the fan (and extending rod) in crazy fast time. I highly recommend Doolittle as my experience was nothing short of extremely satisfying!"

"We built our home in 2004, until you have to start replacing things on your home is when you find out the quality of work. 5 years in our A/C outdoor unit stopped working, when we got it fixed found out that what was installed was a refurbished unit not the new unit that was on our plans that we paid for. I did contact Hallmark homes at the time and only got that it was out of warranty and that we should have check when it was getting built. Who checks inside of an outdoor A/C unit. Next thing that happened was that the pipes froze in one of our bathrooms, when we took out the surround tub behind the tub were the duct work for the furnace was, actual trash was left inside the walls of our house. And we found no insulation between wall and the attic part of the garage, no wonder the pipes froze. This year we unfortunately got hit by a tornado with wind and hail damage to the outside of our house, yesterday they started pulling off the original siding and found there is no house wrap on our house! Not only that the OSB board have 1" to 2" gaps in them, you can see the inner drywall from between the gaps, meaning there is no insulation in the wall!! It now makes since over the past 19 years why our home has had so many drafts. We are now going to have to pay out of our pockets for the water damage caused by not having house wrap under the siding and fixing all the OSB board that are gapped. Unless you have time to be at you home while it is being built 24/7 do not contract with Hallmark Homes."
