"I recently used Morse on a $30,000 interstate move. Our goods were in storage for seven months and given all the transfers that had to take place it was not a surprise that we had about $1,500 in damaged and missing goods. Most of the damaged goods were repairable. Morse advised that I had to fill out a claim form for each damaged item and that missing items could only be reimbursed if the absence was noted at the time of delivery, which is a near impossibility. I did fill out the claim forms, which were tedious, and was finally contacted by a representative requesting valuation on several items for which I had no information and, because the many of the items were repairable, value was irrelevant anyway. Nevertheless, instead of just sending a furniture repair person (as has been my experience with moving companies in the past) I was told I needed to provide individual appraisals on things like $60 lamps Then, in 30 to 60, days an adjuster would be sent out. I finally gave up on the third-party insurance administer and advised the representatives that I had been dealing with at Morse that I was requesting that Morse take financial responsibility for the loss and damage. That request was met with silence. Whenever funds were due from me, they needed to be wire transferred the same day or charged in advance to a credit card. When the shoe was on the other foot, that timely attention to detail was not reciprocated. There are plenty of moving companies available. I encourage you to chose one that will stand behind its work and accept responsibility for the miscues that will inevitably happen in this business."

Little did I know on the front end there was some hidden fees. They charge you 100 dollars extra for gas, even though our move was 5 minutes away...that's absurd. Also they charge you extra for furniture pads and saran wrap. But wait there is more! They broke our ping pong table and never filled out the paper work like they said they would! I had to contact them and the owner was unaware of the ping pong table being broken. They also never contacted me until 4 days later and quoted me 790 dollars, 270-290 dollars higher than I was quoted JR the Owner made it right and took off 50 dollars for gas and didn't charge us for the furniture pads and saran wrap as long as we didn't file a claim for the ping pong table. I added a star because JR is a reasonable man and owner but the way they do business is sub par. Also their movers are good people and they work hard but didn't tell their owner of the damaged item. Overall they have a few things to fix before I would call them again."

"Definitely the worst company that you can imagine, their crew didn't take any care when loading my belongs into the truck they were literally throwing everything without any organization at all, which got most of the things damage during its travel. They damaged my walls during the pick up, had one member of their crew the entire time on his mobile phone, didn't pick a single box and saw him dozens of time after his partners just asking "How much will I get paid for this work", I was told that was his 1st day, by the way. After all this frustration and disappointment, I called their customer service and they weren't paying attention at all in everything that happen, as bad as the experience, they were just worried about collecting the payment, even mentioning that member of their crew hadn't worked at all, so they just send your home random guys that has no experience, responsibility and commitment at all, but they do want get paid as they would. Believe me, avoid this company as much as you can and safe yourself from bad experience like mine, this company is a shame."
