"We had our asphalt driveway removed and replaced. The original work looked good - it was completed when we were not at home - bad timing on our part. After one year, we reported some cracking, sent pictures as requested and was told it was normal settling. Year 2, cracks were more pronounced, we sent pictures as requested, and were told someone would come our to look at it. We were ghosted several times, didn't receive return phone calls - it was very frustrating. Couldn't get past customer service to speak to anyone. No owner, no manager, no project manager. Long story short, they refused to "do business with us anymore" and wouldn't stand by their work. Pictures attached of year 3 - don't work with this company."

J&S PAVING INC is a family owned and operated business that has been serving the Chicagoland area for more than 30 years. We have state of the art equipment to ensure the best quality work. "We had an oddly shaped asphalt driveway that narrowed quite a bit at the curbing. Our project involved ripping out the old asphalt, expanding the footprint a good deal, and paving. J&S did a great job of understanding what we wanted and gave us a fair quote. The demo crew did a great job ripping the old one out, backfilling with new gravel base, and compacting with no damage to existing lawn or concrete. The asphalt crew did a great job laying the asphalt, hand tamping edges, and compacting. Both crews were super friendly, explained everything they were doing, and cleaned up nicely. Driveway looks great, and we are very happy we hired J&S."

"I typically don't write reviews but was driven to do so. Our concrete walkway was laid in the spring and started crumbling in October. I contacted Rivera Concrete Paving when we noticed it. He tried stating the crumbling was there from the beginning which is interesting since we never had concrete there before. You would think there would be concern over the job he did but no. His comment was I will stop when I'm in the area...still waiting. Please don't use this company."
