"Just got done with a Kitchen Remodel with Biango Construction – and it was GREAT! Nick Biango and his team were skilled, professional, on-time, clean and did beautiful work. The cabinets they built are top of the line – and are as good as if not better than the Thomasville cabinets I have in my dining room and Thomasville built-in bookcases in my home office. If you don’t believe me, I have another testimonial from the village inspector. Nick Biango also built a deck for me last year (that was why I was so confident with having him back for the kitchen remodel) and when the inspector looked at my deck, he commented on the beautiful job and asked for the name of the contractor as he had some work he needed done and he appreciates best quality workmanship – high praise from someone whose job it is to approve work on building permits. "Starting with the estimate (which was comparable to the other estimates I got), Gibran spent more time discussing exactly what I wanted and needed: the old walk was narrow, did I want it widened; squared off or rounded out where it met the garage slab; raising the back walk slightly to eliminate the extra, shallow step at each end; and most usefully, how to work around the 100 year old catalpa, that had lifted and broken the old walk, between it and the house. We ended up adding a curve to the walk, just by the tree, giving it extra space without disturbing the existing tulip bed on the other side of the walk along the house. He and his crew worked quickly and neatly, and did a very nice job. The new walks meet the city sidewalk and garage slab evenly, the curves are smooth, the tree has room, the tulip bed and ivy along the house weren’t disturbed, and now it’s much less of a pain to shovel snow than it used to be! As a bonus, landscaping was not part of the contract, but Gibran found a source of black dirt for us, and when there was a delay (while waiting for the city inspector) after the forms were in place, he and his crew spread the dirt needed to regrade the yard for us, rather than just sit around. I’m very pleased with the work they did for us, enjoyed working with Gibran and his crew, and would definitely recommend 5 Star Concrete & Construction."
