I am so happy with the work that 5 Star Concrete did for me. The price was reasonable and the work they did was great. I needed new concrete by the garage overhead door and some new concrete by my back door. Gibran even did a few little extras for me at no additional cost. He came out to my house on Thursday and gave me an estimate. Monday morning he came out with his crew and did the job. He is the Owner of this Company and he comes out with his crew to work with them and oversees the work being done. Gibran is honest and listened to any concerns I had regarding the work and he will make suggestions if he sees a way to make it even better. He is a very busy guy so if you call him and get the voicemail, leave him a message and he will get back to you.

I recently had part of my left leg amputated and needed the narrow sidewalks between my back porch and garage replaced with much wider walkways. After being scammed by another contractor, I was skeptical about anything any contractor might promise... 5 Star Concrete & Construction restored our faith in contractors. They answered my job request almost immediately after I sent it!!! Within an hour, Gibron (the owner?) was at my house with an estimate and his assurance that such a small job could be finished that very afternoon! I was further amazed by the fact that Gibron told us that no monies were expected until after the job was completed! Sure enough, his crew arrived soon afterwards and began preparing my yard for the concrete to be poured. By 5 pm, the job was PROFESSIONALLY done along with two small handyman chores we had asked for! Total cost was $2750 for new 40" wide sidewalks that I could easily manuever my walker, rollator and wheechair on safely! A wonderful experience. Can't recommend this contractor highly enough!

Promptly responded to my request for quote, was fairly priced and was able to get the job done within a few days. Team was careful not to impact the surrounding garden and cleaned up all the debris after. Really happy with 5 Star Concrete's work!

Everything went OK with the removal and installation. He started the project on the date we agreed and it was completed in 2 days as promised.

They came out and explained the entire job process. The following day, they started the job and it went exactly as planned. When done, they cleaned up and left my basement looking great. I am very pleased with the job and I will use them for future jobs and I highly recommend them.

Gibran was very insightful regarding all aspects of the proposed projects. He listened to our concerns and added his expertise and the result was not only a 5-star job but also it was a pleasure working with his team. I learned a lot from him and would recommend him without reservation to anyone needing his services.

The job was professionally completed with great clean up. Team was friendly and price was competitive. Most pleasant surprise was the speed. We spoke on a Saturday and confirmed contract on Sunday. The job was completed Tuesday.

This was a big, expensive project for our five-unit building. Our front stairwell has been disintegrating for years now. Gibran and his crew did a great job. We had some complaints about the appearance of the side walls of the stairs. Gibran was responsive and sent his crew back to finish the job. The railings he installed were custom made and very high quality.

Gibran and company did a very good job. i am very satisfied with their work. i got some compliment from neighbors too. they arrived 8:30 am to do removal work and prepped the site and they poured concrete the next day. the only minor complaint i have is that you have to call him several times for him to respond but he will eventually respond.

Job went well. Gibran even came out on Sunday to provide quote so we were able to start job sooner.

What an amazing experience. I had tried 8 different companies to get the job done and 5 Star was one of 2 who responded. They were quick to provide an accurate estimate, walked me through the plan for the job, and got it done on time and on track. I am very thankful I found them.

Came on Sunday to look at project, been over a week now. I followed up twice but still don't have an estimate for the work. He should have said he was too busy rather than come out to look at a project he doesn't have time to estimate.

The concrete around our house was extremely old. The house is 80 years old so safe to say so was the concrete. It was time to get it ripped up and replaced, I got a couple of other quotes and Gibran's was the fairest. Him and his crew arrived and started tearing into it. It did not look like easy work and in the end the concrete looked great. I'm writing this review about 2 months after he completed the job and so far it looks great, not breaking or cracking or anything like that. My only minor complaint was at the start communication went unanswered for a while. I was not too bothered about this as I didn't ever think he wasn't going to do the job or anything like that but if somebody else gets worked up over these things just give him a bit of time. His job is pretty hard so I would not hold it against anybody not replying to texts when you're in the middle of splitting concrete slabs apart!

It went very well. Gibran and his crew did an excellent job. Gibran proposed a solution for new apron, floor, and concrete perimeter around my garage to prevent rodent intrusion. Where the exterminator I had been working with failed to do this, 5 Star Concrete was able to accomplish in 1 day. The work is highly professional and looks GREAT! I was very pleased.

Gibran was very easy to work with and his team was efficient and did great work. I was quoted a reasonable price and couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. I would recommend them without reservation.

The sidewalk work was good. However, in the process, the workers removed a post required for our gate to close. After telling Gibran, who was not onsite when most of the work was being done, he promised he would return and replace the post. Never happened. We are still unable to secure our yard with the gate.

Gibran and company were really wonderful and flexible with my plans for a backyard patio. The quality of the work looks good, the lines are crisp and the California style finish matches the walkway I already had. Happy to enjoy being at home in my new patio during this pandemic and I recommend 5-star and would hire them again.

5 Star removed and replaced the crumbling concrete step and the spalling stoop of our condo building and 80 feet of sinking sidewalk along a heavily trafficked and sloped public way. The work far exceeded expectations. 5 Star was communicative and punctual leading up to the construction day. On the morning of construction day, 5 Star's crew arrived before the scheduled start time to set up and prep the area, so actual work began exactly at the agreed-upon start time. Demolition and removal was precise, quick and thorough. The company president himself supervised the concrete pour and worked onsite until the job was completed, actually doing all of the precision work of constructing concrete stairs and shaping a new sidewalk, with a special eye for grading the sidewalk surface with our irregular terrain. 5 Star used premium materials in the pour. Throughout the day, families and other passersby stopped to watch the work, and it became a small community affair. One retired neighbor, who had worked in construction, sat on a park bench and marveled at the work all day, commenting what a professional team this was. The job was completed by mid-aftgernoon, and cleanup was given as much attention as the construction; except for the "Wet Cement" caution tape, you'd never know so much work had just been done on the site. The four-man crew was friendly, considerate and professional.

Gibran, Owner/President is very professional and his crew is very professional and hard working. I've already recommended them to a construction site putting up 2 houses next door to me because they were impressed with their work and watched everything. Referred to a friend of mines also.
