Tiger Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning, & Electrical Services takes pride in being your preferred local plumbers, electricians, and HVAC technicians! In fact, more homeowners in the St. Louis Metro East & Central Illinois communities we serve, say they would call us again before any other plumbing, electrical, heating, or air conditioning service!
"My technician Keith was great. Friendly and super informative. Also too a quick look at the entire drainage system and gave my an idea of where problems will pop up the future without preventative measures (my home was built in the 50s and while the previous owners took really good care of the house nothing has been gutted and replaced yet)."

"Making It All Work" since 1976, Wm. Masters, Inc. has been providing quality service, at a timely manner and at competetive rates for all your plumbing, electrical, heating & air conditioning, and air duct cleaning needs.
"The plumber arrived 1/2 hour late after going to the wrong house. We ended up getting charged for this time. The plumber worked on the sink first. After I explained what the problem was and expressed concern it might be a venting problem, he got out the power auger and proceeded to auger the drain for about 20 minutes. He then said, "let's go to the basement and check the pipes. I hope I didn't put a hole in one of the pipes." Not exactly words to build confidence. He then said the problem was fixed. He said the toilet noise was due to a faulty valve. He did not have the part with him and had to go purchase it. After replacing the part, the noise was gone. Later that day, the noise returned, and I noticed the sink was backing up again. I called, and he came back out, augered the sink again, then said "it was some kind of venting problem." Really? He said he would give me the names of companies who dealt with that issue, but never followed up. He determined the toilet noise was coming from the assembly inside of the tank, and replaced that. The problem was solved, but the assembly has a very slow leak which causes the toilet tank to fill up at various intervals when we are not using it. In short, he misdiagnosed both problems and we essentially paid $270 for a $12 part that was not installed properly. We will not be using this company again."

Landscapers typically charge $25 to $50 per person per hour, which equals around $50 to $100 per hour for a two-person crew. These rates can vary depending on your location, the size of staff needed for the job, and overall job type. For example, a larger crew will be needed for structural additions and hardscaping versus planting flowers.
When it comes to landscapers, licensing laws vary. Landscaping architects are required to be licensed in all 50 states, whereas traditional landscaping contractors are not typically required to hold a certification. You’ll likely be working with a landscaping contractor for most residential projects. If you are redesigning your whole yard or adding in hardscape features, you will work with a landscaping architect at some point during the project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local landscaper guidelines.

Yes, most states require plumbers to be licensed, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed plumber could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations.

We highly recommend leaving the work of replacing drain pipes to a professional plumber. Drain pipes are a key part of your plumbing system, and making mistakes during the installation or even using the wrong size pipes for your specific fixture can lead to an elevated risk of leaks and clogs. Additionally, drain pipes prevent harmful sewer gas from entering your home, so hiring a professional plumber is essential to keeping the risk of leaks and clogs low and avoid reducing your indoor air quality.
The cost to install a drain pipe is $600 on average, but the total can range between $150 and $2,000. Some cost factors that influence your project price include the type of drain, the area’s accessibility, the proximity of existing drain lines, and whether you’re installing a new drain or replacing an old one. Replacing the p-trap or s-trap under a single fixture will usually cost around $150, while replacing a main drain pipe can cost well over $2,000.
