Sloggy Plumbing

I bought a Big Deal for $39 for a toilet tune-up and then paid a little extra to have them look at the hot water heater. The service was fine; they did a good job. They were able to fix the water heater pressure.

The hot water pressure throughout our house suddenly dropped very low. I tried to solve this myself, unsuccessfully, and knew I needed a plumber. It was clear on Angie's List that there were a number of highly rated plumbing services I could use, so I started reading the comments. Very impressed with the reviews for Sloggy Plumbing, I called and spoke to Brian. While describing my problem I had my fingers crossed that someone could come out today or tomorrow. To my amazement, Brian began solving it right over the phone. He asked some questions, and steered me in the right direction. Armed with this data, I headed out and fifteen minutes later my wife and I had normal hot water pressure! One of the things that had impressed me in the reviews was the sense that the clients had received personal and caring service. Well, I certainly received that when I called. I rang Brian back to tell him the news, and inquire about whether he does gas line work. Happily, he does, because my wife and I would really like to switch out our electric range for gas. It is really nice to know you have this kind of plumber on your side, and now on speed dial in our phones!

He was professional, but I decided to go with another provider.

From start to finish everything went well. I purchased the deal in the evening and received a call from Brian first thing the next morning. On the day he was scheduled to come out, he was prompt and very professional. He offered suggestions for minor fixes the extend the life of the toilets in my home and gave me a quote to repair the odd plumbing under my sink.

Just normal. Does not know how to close boiler. Didn't do anything great except explaining about plumbing.

Mr. Sloggy kept me informed along the way with simplicity and honesty. He was concerned about doing things right, not halfway. He did give me a discount which helped. He also told me about the $100 rebate program for replacing old toilets with new more water efficient ones. He did extra things with no charge, such as replacing my toilet seat with broken hinges with other toilet seat that I had. He is a hardworking individual, and I would recommend him to anyone if you have plumbing issues. I am very satisfied with his services at this time.

Brian is very professional, prices are reasonable, he will dedicate time to explain in detail everything about the service, he will not push for additional services. I will definitely use him again if needed.

The job was successfully completed to my complete satisfaction. This was the second time I had used his services and was as happy this time as I was the first. He is punctual, friendly, honest, and does excellent work. I highly recommend him.

He arrived at the appointed time, made the repairs in a couple of hours. Showed me some things I could do on my own and how to do them without having to call a plumber.

Brian Sloggy, who is the owner of this business, was the one who showed up to perform the work I needed done. He was very pleasant, professional, quickly fixed the issue I contacted him about and charged a fair price for the work performed. He completely inspected the toilet and pointed out worn out parts that needed replacement. He also showed me a couple of things that had been done incorrectly within the tank, affecting the performance. The informed me that he would be glad to either fix them for me or that, if I was handy with such things, the parts needed were fairly inexpensive and could be easily replaced/fixed. I opted to fix them myself, since they aren't very hard to do. I will be scheduling another appointment with Brian Sloggy in the near future to obtain a quote for a much larger job of additional plumbing work that needs to be performed. I would trust him to repair my Grandmother's house! He is exceptional and I will use him for any future plumbing issues that may arise. I highly recommend Sloggy Plumbing to anyone who wants a fair and professional plumber.

The service was thorough, and he was able to let us know of any plumbing issues we had. Things he did for us included: Checked entire house for plumbing issues Replaced leaky regulator valve Installed 5 toilets Installed garbage disposal Etc.

My water bill skyrocketed one month and I couldn't locate the leak. They were able to locate it and get it repaired for me.

Brian did an outstanding job. He was prompt, professional, and thoroughly explained how the alarm functioned. We will definitely use his services again.

It took us a while to coordinate our schedules, but when Brian finally came out, he arrived on time and did an excellent job! Quite a nice fellow, which made the experience even more pleasant.

Soggy's returned my contact response immediately. Setup a convenient time with me that was faster than I thought I could get someone here. Provide a call in advance on the day and confirmed time of arrival. Arrived 15 minutes early, but didn't ring the bell until 5 minutes prior to call. Performed specific service (leaking toilet - fixed) and performed and whole house check. Found several things that I had been meaning to have looked at. Quoted, agreed to service and resolved each quickly. Wouldn't hesitate to bring him back again (and frankly, maybe soon as I need a new kitchen faucet - which we discussed).

I found Sloggy Plumbing on Angie's list a few months ago and had them remount a wobbly toilet and replace a pressure regulator, among other things. We were pleased enough with the service to call them back when our hot water heater died. Brian went above and beyond to work with Home Depot and jump through several hoops related to an extended warranty we had. I would highly recommend him. He is punctual, courteous and fair.

They came out here right away and serviced the issue. They were very courteous, professional, they came out immediately and they were very good at explain everything upfront including pricing. they cleaned up after themselves and did a very good job

Brian, the owner of Sloggy Plumbing, had come out before to check my hot water heater. It finally bit the dust and I called Brian to replace it. He worked with my work schedule and had me up and running in a day. Very professional,thorough and polite. .Even though late in the evening, he was polite in answering all my many questions. I would def use this small business again.

Owner of Sloggy Plumbing came out on time and I went over with him what I wanted to get done. We agreed on what he would do within what the deal covered and I considered this to be fair. I thought I needed a new wall valve for the toilet (that the one that was originally installed was smaller than most that I have seen. He assured me that all I needed was a new toilet valve and flapper and promised me that if he installed the toilet valve and flapper instead of a new wall valve, that I would see a huge difference in the water flow when flused. He was of course absolutely right because he had, I think he said, 30 years of experience under his belt. After this I asked him to check the water pressure and make sure the system did not leak. It did not, and the pressure was normal. I then asked him if he could fix the outside faucett. He said the faucett is old (30 years) and might need to be replaced. He took a look at the faucett and said that it would probably have to be replaced. He did tighten the bonnet nut which did keep it from leaking, but the adjustment also made the valve hard to turn on and off. Replacing the valve was going to be too much in order to stay within the deal so I declined to have him do the work I was impressed with his knowledge of plumbing and would definately have Sloggy Plumbing out again to do wotk for me. I was very happy with the quality of the work that was done.

He had to cut through the ceiling in the garage to get to the plumbing fixtures below the jacuzzi. This was an additional cost for the repair.

My experience was pretty good. The technician that came out was honest. Scheduling an appointment was good.

The plumber was punctual and professional. It was $75 to replace the sink drain and I felt their prices were a little expensive. Scheduling an appointment was fine.
