Alex is very professional. Quick knowledgeable service. Replaced rollers and repaired door track. Standard price $150 for new stainless steel rollers and $150 for track repair with new stainless steel rib. $300 PER DOOR seemed a little pricey, but the door is now better than new.

Door was practically inoperable. Tracks were cleaned and rollers relaced. Evidently there was buildup of pet hair in areas we couldn't access. Replaced nylon rollers with stainless-steel rollers. Very nice, very professional.

I rated "responsiveness" a "C" only because I had to call twice to get somebody to talk to on the phone. The first call resulted in my leaving a message, but they didn't call back. The second time, they called back within an hour.

It went very well! I have been needing to do this work for a while, couldn't find anyone in my area, Lake Placid Florida. I was very lucky that Alex had some business to take care off here and was able to stop by and fix my door! Excellent job, extremely professional and courteous. I would definitely use his services again, if he's willing to travel here? As a bonus, I just noticed on the invoice, that he offers a three year for parts and three year for labor warranty!

Alex was easy to contact, responsive, listened to my description of the problem, explained the expected repairs needed, gave me an estimate, and scheduled a date and time for the repair. On the day of the repair, he called to let me know when he was on his way and arrived promptly. He was very professional, explained the problems after a thorough examination, and answered all my questions about preventing future problems and the maintenance required. He was in and out in about half an hour. He demonstrated proper operation and had me verify the installation, and cleaned up thoroughly. Payments are via check or cash. I was very satisfied with the work and the professional manner in which everything was done, from the initial contact to the final installation. I recommend Alex for any problems with sliding glass doors or to install door security hardware.

The sliding glass doors in the house we just bought were almost impossible to move. We called Alex's and they were able to send technicians within a couple of days. A two-man team arrived on time and removed the doors, cleaned and lubricated the track and replaced the rollers. Now they slide beautifully and we are very happy with the service we received and with the result.

Alex provided superior service. A slider panel did not close completely and moved with great resistance. Alex did a thorough job of removing the door, replacing the rollers, cleaning the track, and re-installing the panel. The slider now moves easily back and forth and closes & locks normally. Alex also inspected other panels along the lanai to ensure that the doors were rolling on the tracks. The service was prompt, cheerful, friendly, and professional. Although he was under no obligation to do so, Alex suggested several security tips for sliding doors that were most instructive and re-assuring to us. I will use Alex again and recommend his services to anymore with sliding door problems.

Alex was very proficient and very careful as he worked. He explained everything and had all 4 doors working perfectly within one and a half hours. He cleaned up and explained how to maintain the doors.

I had three sliding door panels that I thought need the bottom wheel rollers replaced. Alex and his son Drew showed up on time and were very professional. They went to work replacing the rollers on the main door with better than original parts, inspected the other doors panels then lubricated and aligned them. Now they work perfectly. Also and very important, Alex is an honest business man as he could have replaced the two other panel rollers and charged me for all three repairs but told me they didn't need to be changed thereby saving me a lot of money. I am very pleased with there work and would be happy to recommend them to others.

Even my six year old granddaughter can open the safety lock in an emergency but we have greatly raised our levels of safety and security thanks to the advice we received from Alex and the efficiency of his team who did the work at very reasonable prices. Highly recommend without reservation.

A two person team arrived on time. The leader was the original founder of the company. He was rather no-nonsense. Nonetheless, they completed the job quickly, efficiently and with the desired results. I thought they were somewhat overpriced ($450.00) for what they did, which only took between 45 minutes and an hour. But, I knew this going in and chose them because of the Angie's list reviews. Also, they were the only firm that gave me a straightforward price quote beforhand. Others gave me piecemeal quotes, with a lot of "ifs" and qualifications. They very well could have been the same price or higher. All things considered, you can't beat quality and I would use Alex's again.

Alex and his helper arrived right on time and explained the work to be performed. I agreed so they proceeded to removed the glass door panels to be fixed. They actually buy stock rollers kits that come with nylon rollers and rebuild the assembly with stainless steel ball bearing rollers. They then cleaned the door and tracks removed old worn nylon rollers and installed the new stainless steel assembly on both glass door panels. They then lubricated the track and rollers with special spray lube for aluminum. I had then show me the special lock they sell and how it works. Bought it on the spot. They installed it quickly. Total time: 50 minutes.

I found the ad for the service in the Home Mag here in Sarasota and decided to look on Angie's List for reviews before calling. I saw on their Angie's List page they accepted VISA, Master Card & Discover. Great I thought since I knew it was going to be a bit pricey what I needed to get done. I never thought that Angie's List would state something totally untrue so I just "assumed" that statement was in fact....FACT....and didn't bother to ask if they accepted credit cards when I made the appointment for them to come do the work. After the work was complete, I got the unsettling surprise that they do not accept credit cards!!! I didn't even ask for the Angie's List 5% off since I had read in another review they "reluctantly" gave the 5% off when asked. So just as a warning...you cannot believe everything is true on a businesses page here on Angie's List. I called the repair shop office to see why they had it here that they accepted credit cards and they seemed perplexed it was on here!!! You are on Angie's List, yet you don't even look to see what your ad or page looks like??? Either it was a bait and switch or Angie's List needs some help getting business pages set up correctly. Now I gotta go scramble and see how I can cover an upcoming bill I was planning on paying with the check I just had to write to this business

UNBELIEVABLE! Pocket sliders to lanai had never worked properly and were nearly impossible to open. The guys called 1/2 hour before appointment to let us know they were coming. Showed up on time and went to work. Turns out only one set of rollers needed replacing (they were honest and could have told me both doors needed them!) A little over an hour later the sliding doors worked like new. They also cleaned the track and had to remove part of the glass door frame. I couldn't be more pleased and impressed...Thanks men for the great job!

They knew what they were doing. They get it done and I was amazed. My neighbor used them also. He came over to watched him. We both watched them. He had a couple doors for him too.

Set up the appointment with Alex to get it done within the next couple of days. His dad and helper showed up right on time. After patting our retired greyhound, they explained why the 12' sliding glass door took so much strength to move. I can't tell you how many finger nails my wife has broken. They popped both ends off the sliding door and took the rollers off the bottom(there are no rollers on the top). They showed me how the middle of the rollers were just wobbling around without any bearing. The new rollers are much more heavy duty. After putting the door back together, it rolls like magic! I really can move it with my little finger. My wife was traveling and was pleasantly surprised when I had her open the door. We've lived with the broken rollers for 4 years. I've put a foam block as a cushion in case we forget and use brute force to open the door. Now we don't have to leave the door open all the time when going back and forth to the lanai since it is so easy to close. I would HIGHLY recommend Alex's sliding glass door repair. My only regret is waiting 4 years before I got it fixed. At least it wasn't 10 years!

They came on time and showed me the simple lock mechanism and why it was right for the door, preventing lifting or pulling the door off its track. The guys did a great job and were out in about 15 minutes.

I would check around with other glass companies before I committed myself. I was quoted $175 per panel. I checked with a glass company and they wanted $22 each for the set of rollers and $65 for the first half hour and $35 for any additional hours. There could be a substantial savings if you were doing many doors.
