Just had my sliding glass door replaced. I have to say, Mike and Jeff did an amazing job with the new installation. Because of some unforeseen damage to flooring under the door, the job took longer than expected, but the work was top-notch. Very professional, attention to detail, and down-right perfectionist. I would highly recommend this company and would not hesitate to use them again if the need arises.

We got ProVia patio doors installed. Overall, our experience was excellent. We purchased the doors from Precision Building Service, and they installed them. Following is a summary: 1) Called Precision after reading reviews on Angie. When I was reviewing their website, came to know about ProVia doors. ProVia is based in Ohio and they produce excellent doors. 2) Called Precision. Galen and John stop by our house and gave us an estimate. They took detailed measurements, explained to us about ProVia doors, and the same evening received a quote. 3) I had lot of questions. Galen answered all my questions and encouraged me to contact him if I had more questions. All my correspondence with Galen was by email. 4) I also received quotes from other installers. Precision Building Service are certified installers of ProVia and their price was also competitive. So, decided to go with them. 5) Our doors were installed on April 16th. Galen and Mike came by and completed the installation. We are very happy that we went with Precision. Their attention to detail was amazing. Thank you, team Precision Building Service.

We replaced our front entry door and added two storm doors to our property this week and couldn't be more pleased with the quality, service, and the company that we worked with. Galen and Mike from Precision Building Service out of Plain City spent two days installing the doors. They were extremely knowledgable, courteous, worked hard, and totally cleaned up when the job was completed. We would highly recommend Precision Building Service and ProVia doors if you're looking to upgrade.

The overall experience with Precision Building Service was excellent from start to finish. Our house was built without doors for our home office, and due to lack of privacy we simply did not use the room very often. Throughout the initial consultation Mike was extremely thorough and very detail-oriented to ensure that he had a firm understanding of what we were looking for. As far as the installation, he honestly paid more attention to detail than anyone that has ever worked on my house prior, and we couldn’t be happier with the end result. My wife and I contacted Precision Building Service (“Precision”) to obtain an estimate to replace our eight-year old entry door, leaded-glass transom and sidelights whose wooden framing members had rotted and the leaded glass components had lost their ability to provide proper insulating value. John and Galen came to our home on a Saturday afternoon and spent several hours inspecting and measuring our current door, transom and sidelights, as well as, showing us the various options that we could choose from. In addition to the cut-a-way examples of the door’s construction, they carried full size examples of the leaded glass sidelights, hinges, sill plates and color options. The height measurement for our transom was smaller than normal and we had some concerns that this might prohibit us from having the leaded glass pattern in the transom match that of the sidelights. One of the other door replacement companies which represented the same door manufacturer as Precision had advised us that the door manufacturer would not be able to match the transom pattern to that of the sidelights. They could provide a transom with some of the leaded glass details but not all. Galen personally contacted the door manufacturer and provided them with the measurements and the pattern which we had chosen. Galen was able to obtain confirmation that the transom would match the sidelights and provided us with a detailed drawing of the new door which he received from the manufacturer reflecting matching leaded glass patterns in the transom and sidelights. Before making our final decision, we spoke and met with several other replacement door providers. Galen made us feel valued as a potential customer and that our project was very important to Precision. Every other provider that we spoke with advised us that it would be a minimum of twelve weeks before our door would be available for installation. Precision advised us that that they anticipated that the door would be ready for installation in eight to ten weeks. Our door was installed within eight weeks from the time that we placed the order. Precision is a very accommodating company. We really liked our existing lock set and asked all the providers if we could reuse it rather than purchase a new one. Precision was the only company that confidently told us that they could accommodate this request. All the other companies stated that it might be possible but recommended getting new hardware from them. Finally, we found Precision’s pricing to be very reasonable as compared to the other companies. It was interesting that when we advised the other companies of our decision to not utilize them for our project, some of them offered a price reduction as an incentive to choose them. We found this process to be disappointing. The price quote that we received from Precision was their best price. They don’t play games like some of the other companies do. The Precision team was upfront, honest and extremely professional during the proposal process. The installation process for our new door went very smooth. The Precision team spent almost as much time protecting our floors and keeping the dust/debris and cold weather from penetrating too far into our home, as it took to remove the old door, prepare the opening and install the new door, a great deal of time and effort protecting our floors and weather-proofing the work area. The outside temperature on installation day was in the twenties. Mike, Galen and Elmer were very organized, meticulous and thorough in both the removal and installation process. They made sure that the work area was thoroughly cleaned before the left. We are extremely pleased with the work that Precision performed for us and recommend them highly.

Went very well. They communicated well and completed everything they stated they would. If an issue arose it was corrected immediately. They quoted repairing a hole in our floor with a very reasonable hourly labor & material rate as neither of us knew the true extent of the damage. The hole was under vinly flooring. They were able to remove then replace the vinyl flooring so we didn't have to purchase new flooring. We normally always have a little extra flooring on hand but our style floor was discontinued and we did not have any. They discovered additional damage to side walls. They offered different options to repair the damage. I supported their recommendations since they knew how to repair things correctly and not just put a band aid on them. They were always on time, very professional and respecful of our home. They explained everything they were going to do so we had a good understanding of what they were doing as well as why they were doing it. We just had a very high level of trust and respect for; all of their employees we came in contact with, their pricing and their workmanship. If we ever have similar work that we'd need in the future, we'd just call them and schedule it. No need to talk to anyone else.

From the very first interaction with John and Galen, I knew I wanted Precision Building Service to install our door and sidelights. John and Galen brought out full sized sidelight samples. It made it so easy to pick the color, and envision the final product. Both gentlemen were very thorough and patient with the whole process. I had a tricky aspect to my door replacement and Galen came up with a solution that is perfect. All my phone calls and emails were always returned very promptly. The installation could not have been smoother, more thorough, or more pleasant. Galen and Elmer were wonderful, and did a fantastic job. The clean-up was thorough as well. They took great care in protecting my wood foyer floor, and the areas around the new door. I love my new ProVia door! This is an exceptional company. (Note about picture-my new door trim is not painted. That will happen when the weather breaks.)

After 108 years, our home's original entry doors were no longer able to keep drafts out or function smoothly year-round. Multiple lock changes since then haven't helped, and resulted in multiple ugly and draft-prone holes! We set out to find someone who could do the hard job of replacing our doors with new ones that were not only weather-proof, but also in line with the character and style of both the original doors as well as our home's remaining woodwork. Enter: Precision Building Services! I honestly cannot say enough good things about our experience with Precision Building Services. From the first contact, John and his team went above and beyond to ensure that all our questions were answered and that we were happy with our doors. We had an immediate rapport with John and Galen when they came to do our estimate. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and thorough. They brought no shortage of samples with them, and the opportunity to see and touch the product put me at ease about how the doors would fit with the character of our home. Installation was scheduled for the time frame Galen gave us when we signed the contract and paid our deposit a few weeks after our estimate. He and Elmer turned up at the time they said they would, and took every precaution to cover our floors and furniture. In 3 days, both entry doors and their accompanying storm doors were replaced with our new selections! Our new Provia doors look fantastic! The color matches perfectly, and the doors look appropriate for our home and feel solid and secure. And while it is too cold now to try out the retractable screen feature of our new storm doors, we are delighted with those as well! I will add that we had a second quote done just because of the financial outlay this project involved, and that experience only confirmed our decision that Precision Building Services was the right contractor for us. At least in our case, Precision's pricing was far better and our money stretched further: we were able to get the "extra" things we wanted, like kick plates and nicer storm doors, and still pay less than the second estimate (which was for the exact same brand and series of doors). And cost aside, feeling comfortable with someone who is coming to our home to work on it is very important to us, and of the two, only Precision Building Services had this intangible but crucial thing going for them.

Precision Building Service replaced our patio door. We received several replacement estimates, but were most impressed with Precision's professionalism and commitment to a quality product with quality installation. They arrived when said they would and stayed until the job was finished. They did find some water damage when they removed our existing door, which they repaired at a very reasonable price. Precision put in an extremely long day, was meticulous in their installation, and they left our house, patio, and garage cleaner than when they arrived. The quality of new door exceeds our expectations. We will definitely use them again.

We purchased the doors and installation from Precision Building Service. After gathering a few other estimates we went with Precision with confidence in their selections and approach. We ordered doors from a catalog but were able to make the necessary adjustments for a perfect fit to our 1966 replacements. Not all estimates adjusted the door - some wanted to cut into door headers or the entry to make their door work. These new doors have made us so happy and saved energy waste. The doors improved our quality of life and enjoyment in the home. We were overdue for new doors. Working with small Company - expect some scheduling delays perhaps and the price will not be the best offer, but I would absolutely go this route again. The team was EXCELLENT! We had chosen this business because of great ratings on Angie's List and they were right! We needed a new front door and had a ton of dry rot around the frame. They came in and took care of all of it!! The precision and detail of their work was unmatched. They were prompt, they were respectful, they cleaned up after they were finished and the final product looks like it was part of the house all along. Even the detailed work inside of the house in replacing the molding makes it look like it was always there. I HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone looking for a new front door or any other building service they offer. It is the kind of quality work that you don't find anymore.
