I have been satisfying customers for over 10 years. I started working with my father when I was big enough to swing a hammer, and he helped my grandfather remodel homes in Michigan since he was a boy himself! Experience is not an issue. I decided to take the family skills to the next level and start my own business! I make it a point to try and save people money where ever I can without sacrificing workmanship! I strive to make a good reputation and want to continue to please every customer. Most of my clients treat me like family!

"The company seems great. They show up and do the work and it looks great! Unfortunately, the quality and customer satisfaction is severely lacking. Charles took our original measurements, which were incorrect. The assembly team commented the measurements were incorrect but put the enclosure up anyway. Within 3 months a small storm came up and one of the main beams collapsed. After contacting the company someone came out within a week to do the repairs. The enclosure was only a few months old and should have looked brand new. Instead, they put caulk in-between beams that had gaps from the one beam collapsing. Caulk does not make it structurally sound and it's scary having our children under the enclosure wondering if it will collapse. Our door got bent as well during the storm along with several pieces of aluminum along the ground. We still have bent pieces of aluminum along the ground and nothing from the "repair" was caulked so we still have bugs in the enclosure defeating it's purpose. The door was not replaced, instead an extra piece of aluminum was attached and now that is bent from trying to open the door. Needless to say, we can't even get a response from the owner. I don't understand how these repairs cost 60% of the original cost with the minimal work they half did. Seems like they made out pretty well with our insurance."

"In the master bedroom where they put in new closets, they did not caulk and paint it and they put in a lot of stucco, They put in 2 new sliding doors and they cut across them because the nail stick too far from the wall, so when you slide the door back and port it scratches the door. They put in an electrical unit in the master bath for switches, but it stuck out too far from the wall, they ended up using 2 plastic plates, put them together and put in on the wall. The toilet that they had to put back was slightly crocked. It was not straight, it goes to the left and instead of sealing the base of the toilet, they put a black thing to it and it looks dirty, it looks really bad. I also found out that they did not use seal-able grout in tiling the shower and all the grout that they use in my house were not seal-able grout either. We had a leaking lanai, I talk to Jason their employee and I told him, that I don't want something that leaks and he said "this one will not leak, I guarantee you. You will not have any problem with it". So they put in a sun room and it leak 9 times on the right side, twice on the left and it damage my wall. After they left I have to climb up there and I have to seal the space between the house and the sun room and paint it, they did not bother to do it. The $10.000 Kitto that is supposed to have a cover on it, it's not there. He said "putting a cover to it is a wild card, they cannot do something about it". The Kitto is there but I cannot put the litter boxes out there, because I don't have anything to protect them from getting wet when it rains. And on the top of the two when they first put it in, they had a door. They put the door on the opposite side, so now the door, you can be lock it from the outside but you cannot lock it from the inside. In the den, they are supposed to move the frame for closing the laundry area, they did not do it correctly and the door would fall off. They laid down tiles there but I have to take it up because it was not leveled and the grouting chips away. There are some parts on the Living room, in the den, bedroom, bathroom and sun room, the paint was peeling off. There is nothing in the house that they did correctly and I have to get another company to fix it."

When contacting an awning installer, there are a few questions to ask to make sure the process runs smoothly. To have the awning of your dreams installed to shade you from the sun, ask your installer some of these questions to get you started:
How long will this project take to complete?
Do you have insurance coverage?
Will I need a building permit for this project? Who is responsible for obtaining this?
Do you have references from previous clients?
Do you have photos of previously completed projects?
The cost of an awning is $1,400 to $4,400 on average. However, this cost could be as low as $100 or as high as $7,500, depending on a few factors. The type of awning you choose, the size you need, and your location all affect your overall cost.
For example, portable awnings you can put up and take down yourself range from $100 to $400, whereas motorized awnings are more luxurious and cost between $2,000 and $3,500.
Awnings can take anywhere from two hours to two days to install once made. Retractable awnings are generally more lightweight and simpler to install than metal ones, which take longer. Even if you’ve chosen a retractable awning, it’s best to plan for a two-day installation timeframe to give your installer plenty of time to ensure proper installation and operation.
Awnings are either fixed or retractable and can be paired with a variety of cover materials. Fixed awnings are a permanent outdoor feature of a building. These are highly durable and require ongoing maintenance. Once installed, the position of this awning cannot be changed.
Retractable awnings are more popular than fixed awnings since the cover can open and close. This allows homeowners to open and close the awning, depending on the weather. When not in use, it can be closed to allow for extra space.
Besides the type of awning, you’ll need to choose the type of cover. Your awning installation professional will review your options with you, including availability and costs. The types of covers you can choose from include:
Wood, which is durable but can be damaged easily by rainwater and fire
Cotton offers flexibility, weatherproofing, and easy cleaning
Canvas is highly durable and is a good choice for retractable awnings
Metal is sturdy but is prone to rust
Polyester is easy to clean and is a more breathable option
Polycarbonate is highly resistant to UV rays and is difficult to damage
