"Great job! Carpets are beautiful. They did some much needed repairs, also. One carpet had a large chunk out of the side (dog chewed). They repaired the area and now cannot tell where the problem was. Pick up and delivery also excellent. I'll use them again in the future."

"They were there on time, and did the job paid for in an efficient manor. There were several dirty areas from traffic patterns, and most of them came out. They used steam cleaning method which leaves no lingering odors upon completion. They did pre spot before beginning the steam cleaning. It took about 2 hrs. to do the entire house. They had to vacuum before starting. The house is big, 2700 sq. ft. and has a master bedroom which is 53' long. They charged me by the room not the sq. footage, therefore they were by far the least expensive to use."

"I discovered petpee.com when I was searching online for ways to remove the urine odor from our 10’ x 14’ Karastan wool oriental rug. I had planned to clean the rug myself, but I was intrigued by the videos I saw on YouTube of petpee.com’s owner, Meir Martin, demonstrating how he cleans rugs like mine. I searched for petpee.com reviews and was blown away by the number of glowing reviews that had been written by satisfied customers. I knew then and there that I wanted to turn my rug over rug to Mr. Martin to finally get rid of the urine odor that had been building up for over 10 years. I called him and got a quote of $1079, which included shipping both ways, cleaning the rug, and a guarantee that I would not be able to detect any urine odor when my rug was returned to me. After getting over the sticker shock, my husband gave me the green light to send the rug to petpeepee.com. I think he was more interested in getting rid of my constant complaints about the urine odor than the actual odor itself! You can use rug shampoo on an oriental rug, but you need to make sure you use a natural, non-abrasive shampoo. While other carpets made from synthetic fiber can stand up to harsh chemicals, the natural material—sheep’s wool, cotton, silk, or camel hair—that goes into an oriental rug will break down and get damaged if they come in contact with traditional rug shampoos. In many cases, it’s best to let a professional assess your carpet and determine which gentle shampoo would be most appropriate.
The average cost to have a professional clean an oriental rug is around $6 per square foot, and most cleaners charge between $5 and $9 per square foot. The size of your rug will be a major factor when it comes to cleaning costs. For example, a 6x9 foot rug will cost $320 on average, while a 9x12 foot rug will cost $650 or more.
The state of your oriental rug will also play a role, as rugs that are excessively dirty and haven’t been cleaned in years will take longer to clean and, therefore, cost more.
It’s possible to clean an oriental rug yourself, but it’s not recommended for two reasons.
