"I had a kitchen floor with 20 year old linoleum that had water damage on it. When the flooring was replaced after the leak, the wood subfloor beneath it was not repaired, and so it rotted away. It had become so soft I actually was able to push my finger through it at one point and make a hole through the linoleum on the floor and the wood below. I explained this to Juan who came to give me an estimate and he said it would be no problem to repair the floor. I also wanted to replace the old white linoleum with woodgrain vinyl plank flooring. He showed me some samples and we landed on one that I liked. He quoted me a very decent price for the kitchen, and later I decided to do the bathroom as well, so it would match the kitchen. The day of the installation, his crew arrived within five minutes of the time quoted. They were friendly fast and knowledgeable as they replaced the rotted wood and fixed some squeaks that were in the joists. They were careful and accurate in laying the new plank flooring in both the kitchen and the bathroom. After the job was done, I looked at it and I couldn’t be happier with the result. "We had water damage to our entranceway which required replacement of the oak flooring. This flooring is repeated throughout most of the ground floor and the rest of it is of uncertain age but suspected to be approximately 60 years old since the original house was built. We have lived in the house for over 20 years and it was here when we moved in. As there were several areas that needed partial repair in the older rooms, we decided to have those areas repaired at the same time. Then we added a full sand and refinish everywhere, except one room which was just too difficult to empty and had been refinished a different shade. This meant staining the repair in that room to match the existing finish. The match was impossible to identify. We then decided to have the living room carpet removed and replaced with matching oak hardwood. This living room was not part of the original house, so not built with hardwood flooring and we decided to make the whole ground floor hardwood. All these activities meant moving furniture several times to make access possible. Especially as we delayed stages to accommodate painters in the finished rooms before moving furniture into those rooms to access the next areas. Jaymes team, led by Sam and his brother Nelson, did a great job with new installation and patching repairs in the older areas as needed. These guys were amazing. Very enthusiastic and willing to explain certain actions and offer suggestions to our queries. We mentioned squeaks in the floor in the older part of the house and they immediately asked to go under the floor to inspect, then wedged several areas of the subfloor to deal with the squeaks. An entirely voluntary action on their part. They also did a great cleanup job every day before leaving. We were happy to have them in our home."

On the project date, John arrived about 10 minutes early which I loved since my previous experiences with other people make me question their ability to tell time. John was very efficient and finished about thirty minutes earlier than he had estimated. Getting home projects done is an anxiety ridden experience for me and John made it less so."
