"Moe was a first class contractor who did an excellent job with our pool remodel. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again or recommend him to friends. Our pool started with many problems including a very old and inefficient pump, old filter, thinning copper pipes which were staining the plaster, and a leak in the deep end to name a few. He completely refurbished the pool and all the related infrastructure, more than meeting my needs, patiently giving expert advice, and did all this for a fair price. It looks great, works great, and we love it! To give one example of how he went above and beyond, Moe was able to save me a lot of money by coming on a weekend himself to run some tests and get my bottom drain working even after others had said it could not be fixed. Another example is the time he spent to get our pipes to make the most efficient turns and make more elegant use of our space for the new pump room. He even took care to make sure the pipes above ground were painted in a color to match! Later, when I was ready to install a solar heater, of course I called Moe, and he helped me find a deal on some used panels and got them installed at a great price. Now we enjoy an 87 degree pool without the heating costs and our season is much longer than others in the neighborhood. Without any doubt my family is very happy with Moe's work, and the experience of working with him. We have gotten countless hours of enjoyment from our refurbished pool. Thanks Moe!"

"I wish I never hired them. I am now two years into a project they told me would be 6 months total but they were contracting for 12 months "just in case". This was in June 2022. As I write this on May 30, 2024, they continue to delay. Have no control over their subcontractors and continually say "it is out of their control". I have been told multiple times that some of their subcontractors "handle multi-million dollar places" so "they doubt they will ever meet with you." They have made enemies with our architect, engineers, and even pissed off city inspectors with their attitude. But of course, it was always the other person's fault. The latest example is over the cabinets. Rani said on April 4th that they would be "installed next week". We are now on May 30th and only a portion of cabinets are done. They then tried to invoice us for the completion. It has been excuse after excuse. Install was finally supposed to happen Tuesday. They told us Tuesday morning that the cabinet guy's shop was broken into so therefore they can't come this week either... but won't provide when they can come. Any time we try to get answers they say "it's out of their control". They have no accountability for anything. This morning, the shower door guy "got confused" and went to another job in Hollywood and don't know when he will be able to install. It's never-ending. What they truly care about is easy flips and things they can post on their instagram. Seriously, don't work with them. It has been a nightmare. They continue to blow past every timeline and deadline they give you as "approximate" even when you agree to hard dates (with built in cushion time for their numerous mistakes and oversights). Why write a bad review? Is an act of desperation at this point because I just want them to get out of my house and complete the promised work."

"Danial & Arash at Lantern Hills were a godsend!!! I had major water damage, mold, and my entire home needed to be demolished and renovated. This company did everything, from design to dealing with the engineering issues, correcting the framing, subflooring, drywall, paint, flooring, plumbing, and updating the electricity panel. I was really wary of General Contractors before I hired Lantern Hills because I had bad experiences with other contractors. I had been lied to, defrauded, and cheated by 3 different contractors, and I really didn't think anyone in the industry was truthful. My aunt suggested I speak to Danial because her customers had a really good experience with him. I'm so grateful that she suggested him. He was honest, had the best prices, responded to my calls and texts, was always there to help and answer my questions, and he helped me get what I wanted in so many ways. When I couldn't afford something, he would get bids from multiple subcontractors until I got what I wanted. He had an incredible work ethic. I wasn't living on site while my home was renovated and my neighbors would tell me how hard my general contractor was working. One neighbor told me he was there fixing things until 9pm on a Saturday. Danial knew I had a tight deadline and he got things done on time. When the insulation workers didn't show up, Danial and Arash rolled up their sleeves and did it themselves on the weekend! Can you believe it? I have nothing but the very best to say about these kind, competent, and hard-working men. If I had not found them, I don't know what I'd do. I was drowning while taking care of my 2 toddlers, having to move out of my home, and having to completely renovate it. Danial made everything possible. He was incredibly available and he would send me pics and would video chat with me when I couldn't get down to the job site because of my kids. Thank you, Lantern Hills, for giving me my home back!!!
